The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants in Week 4, but it came at a cost as defensive stalwart Micah Parsons was injured in the win. Will they hurt them in our Cowboys vs. Steelers prediction?

Our Cowboys vs. Steelers SNF parlay based on our best Sunday Night Football odds sees the Cowboys at a disadvantage without Parsons as they take on a Steelers team that has been gaining confidence offensively and moving up the Super Bowl odds.

SGP predictions for Cowboys vs. Steelers

Our NEW NFL player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

Steelers -3 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although their 2-2 record isn’t all too concerning, the Cowboys are in a dangerous spot entering their Sunday night matchup against the Steelers. Dallas hasn’t played a complete game since its season opener.

Dallas in danger?

In the past three weeks, Dallas has been blasted by the New Orleans Saints and rolled by the Baltimore Ravens before a fourth-quarter surge made the final score palatable. A 20-15 win over a bad Giants team doesn’t mean things are fixed.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are 3-1 against the spread and have been carried by one of the league’s best defenses. Pittsburgh ranks second in scoring defense, allowing just 13.3 points per game. The Dallas run game is non-existent and Dak Prescott hasn’t been consistent enough to expect success against the ninth-ranked Steelers pass defense, which has allowed just 175.0 passing yards per game.

The majority of our best NFL betting sites offer the Steelers at -2.5 but we’re still willing to consider the -3 spread at DraftKings if the -105 odds boost helps push our parlay into valuable territory.

Justin Fields Over 186.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fields has slowly been getting into a rhythm as the quarterback of the Steelers, producing his most prolific passing effort in his most recent outing when he threw for 312 yards in a loss to the Colts. That has Rod Villagomez also backing a couple of Overs with his Justin Fields SNF player prop bets.

No Parsons is a problem

The Cowboys have allowed 209.5 passing yards per game (19th in the NFL) and will be missing the significant presence of Parsons in this matchup. Cornerback Trevon Diggs is expected to play through an injury, but a depleted defense could struggle against Fields after he’s picked up his pace of late, logging 245 or more passing yards in consecutive games.

Most of our best sports betting sites list this prop at 186.5 passing yards, with BetMGM veering off with a more favorable offering at 185.5.

Jake Ferguson Over 46.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Steelers have been effective in limiting opposing tight ends this season, having allowed just 95 total receiving yards to the position (fifth-fewest in the NFL). That  success against tight ends seems to be impacting Ferguson’s receiving line on Sunday night - and actually bringing it into a range where we’re seeking to bet it.

Go-to status for Ferguson?

We’re looking to ride Fergy through the storm despite the tough matchup as his role has been substantial since he returned from an injury in Week 3. Over his past two games, Ferguson has drawn 18 targets, hauling in 13 receptions and 144 yards.

With Brandin Cooks being placed on injured reserve this week, Ferguson’s contributions to the passing game should be even more crucial moving forward. The line on Ferguson’s receiving yards sits at 46.5 across all of our best sportsbooks - a mark he has cleared each of the last two weeks.

This final leg also correlated with Phil Wood's Dak Prescott SNF player prop bets.

Although DraftKings offered a less favorable line on the Steelers spread, that’s still our recommendation for where to play this SGP. DraftKings’ overall parlay odds of +600 were far better than FanDuel (+504) or BetMGM (+475).

If you’re spooked by pushing the spread from -2.5 to -3, Caesars is a good alternative option, offering SGP odds at +540 with that Steelers -2.5 spread.

A winning $10 wager on this parlay at DraftKings would profit $60.00.
