Commanders vs. Buccaneers Player Prop Picks & Touchdown Prediction

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to beat the Washington Commanders for the second time this season when these teams square off on Sunday night as part of Wild Card Weekend.
The last time these two teams met, Jayden Daniels was making his first NFL start. How will the results from that game impact the best Commanders vs. Buccaneers player prop picks for Sunday’s 8 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock) matchup at Raymond James Stadium?
We're certainly expecting a close game as part of our NFL playoff bracket predictions, and the best sportsbooks agree.
Despite winning the first meeting by 17 points, the Buccaneers are favored by just three points on Sunday.
Will they be able to slow down Daniels for the second time this season, or will the rookie get the better of them this time around?

Commanders vs. Buccaneers touchdown prediction
Terry McLaurin anytime touchdown scorer (+115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McLaurin finished the season with 13 touchdowns, including seven in his last six games of the year. While the competition normally ramps up in the postseason, that won’t be the case for him this weekend.
The Buccaneers allowed 1.6 passing touchdowns per game during the regular season. And over the last three games, they’ve allowed 1.3 per contest, despite facing Spencer Rattler, Bryce Young, and Cooper Rush.
Though McLaurin had only two catches for 17 yards in the last meeting between these two teams, he was also dealing with a quarterback who had never played before. Since then, he and Daniels have emerged as a dominant duo, and in a favorable matchup, I expect them to excel yet again.
We're backing Daniels to find the end zone himself as part of our NFL Wild Card Weekend predictions.

Best Commanders vs. Buccaneers prop picks
Bucky Irving Over 87.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not only is this the best player prop of the game, it’s the best prop of the entire weekend. Irving has taken over as the clear No. 1 back in Tampa Bay, and he finished the season incredibly strong. He ran for at least 89 yards in three of his last four games, and he topped 100 in three of his last six.
This week, he gets to take on a Commanders run defense that has allowed 137.5 rushing yards per game this season. That’s the third-most in the NFL and the most by a playoff team by over seven yards.
Three of the five best sports betting sites have this total set at 90.5 or higher. While taking Over 90.5 for -105 is worth consideration, getting three extra yards for a comparable price at FanDuel is the for valuable play.
Jayden Daniels Over 233.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%

The Buccaneers finished the season allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game. While Daniels managed only 184 against them in Week 1, it can’t be overstated how much that had to do with it being his first start, not the Buccaneers’ defense.
Since that game, Daniels has thrown for at least 234 yards six times. While he finished the year averaging 209.8 yards per game, he also left two games early due to injury. If you remove those two contests, he averaged 234.9. Against one of the worst pass defenses in football, he’ll go above his season average.
The best sports betting apps aren’t in agreement about this total, as bet365 is the only sportsbook offering 233.5, while BetMGM has the number set at 241.5.
What’s even better how about the low bet365 total is that the sportsbook is also offering the best price for the Over.
