Sunday Night Football features the 4-8 Chicago Bears and 9-3 Green Bay Packers. The Bears are arguably the coldest team in football while the Packers have been a profit machine. We're breaking down the betting matchup with our Bears-Packers picks.

The NFC North continues to be a one-team race as the Packers roll on. Even with two losses in their last four games, the Packers have gone 10-2 against the spread, proving to be an excellent weekly value for bettors. They're well-rounded with a solid, consistent offense and great defense.

The Bears, on the other hand, can't catch a break despite what should've been a roster good enough to compete for a wild-card spot. At 4-8 after a 1-6 run, they're simply trying to finish the year with some pride and momentum for the next coaching staff. This game has a huge line attached to it.

Here are my picks and predictions for the NFL Week 14 matchup between the Bears and Packers (odds via DraftKings; pick confidence based on 1-to-5-star scale).

Bears vs. Packers Odds Analysis

The Packers opened as 11-point favorites and the market has increased to -12.5 at all books. The Packers are a solid team, but this is more about how bad the Bears are. Green Bay has won nine of the last 10 in this matchup and will continue that streak this week.

Meanwhile, the total has dipped a little bit from 45.5 to 43. This is the correct direction, and I think it could stand to go down even a few more points. Nonetheless, we'll take full advantage of this number.

Bears vs. Packers Predictions

Packers -12.5 (+100)

The Packers should absolutely roll in this matchup. The Bears' offense has barely shown life even with Justin Fields under center because they lack a functional offensive line and scheme. Head coach Matt Nagy's utterly failed this franchise, and the Packers have more than enough firepower to take advantage.

The Packers can be fairly conservative and still cover since the Bears could be missing both defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and wideout Allen Robinson. This game will be ugly, in favor of the Packers.

Under 43 (-105)

The best thing I can say about the Bears at this point is they'll benefit from Fields returning to the lineup this week. Their unfortunate season wasted some talented players, but they're a non-functional team with this coaching staff and limitations on both sides of the ball. They're merely biding their time until the staff is cleaned out.

Giving Green Bay 12.5 is a lot of points and I'd rather play the total if I had to choose between the two. I don't see the Bears being able to score multiple times, meaning this should end in a 28-6 type of game.
