Two 4-2 teams square off at Soldier Field in Chicago for TNF (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video) as I offer my Patriots vs. Bears prediction.

With a 15-3-1 ATS record, underdogs are enjoying an absurd run this season in prime-time games. I expect the Patriots, who are the 3-point betting underdog, to improve that record to 16-3-1.

Patriots vs. Bears prediction & best bet

Patriots +3 (-114 via FanDuel)

The Patriots have shown more than enough recently to have faith in them keeping things close in the Windy City. They averaged 33.3 points in the previous three games and thrashed a Las Vegas Raiders team that only lost to the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs by three points.

Drake Maye is playing sublime football, tossing 10 TD passes and just one pick in the aforementioned sample size. He faces a Chicago Bears defense that allowed 54 points in the last two games and concedes the most yards per completion (12.5).

📡 SBR Edge: Patriots' dominant ATS road record

The Patriots are 8-2-1 ATS overall on the road and 5-1-1 ATS as road underdogs since the start of last season. And if you exclude the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which they conceded 35 points, the Patriots have allowed an average of 15.6 points per game entering Week 7. That sample included games against the Bills and Raiders, two of the six highest-scoring teams.

Score prediction: Patriots 27, Bears 24
