The WNBA Finals are tied 1-1, and my Valkyries vs. Dream prediction for Game 3 expects the home side to pick up where it left off after pulling off the upset in Game 2.

My WNBA picks back the Dream as a 3.5-point betting favorite. Tipoff at State Farm Arena in Atlanta is set for 8 p.m. ET (USA Network, CNBC). The total is set at 153.5.

Valkyries vs. Dream prediction & best bet

Dream -3.5 (-110 via BetMGM)

It's hard not to like the Dream in this spot. Their confidence will likely be at an all-time high after bouncing back with a 14-point win in Game 2, and now they get to head back home to play in front of a sold-out crowd at State Farm Arena.

The 17,000-plus-seat crowd should create a sizable home-court advantage, which bodes well for the WNBA's leader this postseason in point differential (+8.2). The Valkyries, meanwhile, have a +4.1 point differential but may start to lose confidence in this series after scoring 68 or fewer points in each of the first two games.

Score prediction: Dream 79, Valkyries 73

Best Valkyries vs. Dream player prop bet

Allisha Gray Over 1.5 made 3-pointers (-125 via Hard Rock Bet)

It's no secret that the Valkyries have been the best defense in the W this postseason. They're allowing 0.5 fewer PPG than the Dream, though Atlanta is scoring 4.7 more PPG. Kiah Stokes has played a key defensive role for the Valkyries in this series, blocking four shots in each of the first two games.

While Stokes protects the rim, Allisha Gray has had more opportunities to shoot from the perimeter. She has attempted six or more 3-pointers in each of the first two games (compared to her career average of 4.2 attempts per game) and cashed this prop in Game 2 on 3-of-6 shooting.
