My NFL player props for Week 7 feature six picks, three of which are spotlighted with accompanying analysis.

Three of the six headlining individuals (Jordan Love, Christian Watson, and Amon-Ra St. Brown) take part in the mouthwatering rivalry game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

I’m also keen on Woody Marks, who has enjoyed his time as the Houston Texans’ temporary first-choice running back.

Best NFL player props this week

Woody Marks Over 52.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Marks has enjoyed a productive couple of weeks since David Montgomery injured his groin. Marks scampered for 62 yards against the Tennessee Titans and 56 against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

He’s projected to accumulate 64 yards on the ground against a New York Giants team that allows the joint-second-most yards per rush attempt (5). The predicted game script is conducive to a solid output from Marks, as the Texans are double-digit favorites.

They should be in a position of strength down the stretch, using Marks to eat up as much time as possible.

Jordan Love Over 36.5 pass attempts (-120 via BetMGM)

Love hit the Over on this total in three of six games, including against the Dallas Cowboys last week. Two of his three Overs came in games where the Packers were chasing the game.

While I don’t expect them to trail by a lot in Detroit, they will likely need to score a bunch of points to keep up with the high-powered Lions.

And unless you’ve lived in a dank cave without internet access, you’ll know about the Lions’ secondary issues. Opponents have averaged 42.6 pass attempts against the Lions, the most of any team.

Christian Watson anytime TD (+130 via FanDuel)

Watson scored a touchdown the last time Green Bay visited Detroit, and he has six TDs in as many games this season.

He hit pay dirt three times in as many road games and faces a Lions defense that has allowed the fourth-most passing TDs (14). The last three games at Ford Field between these NFC North rivals averaged 57 points, which should give Watson plenty of chances to celebrate his end zone dance.
