We kick off our predictions for anytime touchdown scorers in NFL Week 4 with Thursday Night Football, showcasing the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

Lions vs. Packers anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Sam LaPorta, Lions, TE (+250 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

LaPorta, the Detroit Lions' 34th overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, enjoyed his breakout game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The Iowa product caught eight of 11 targets for 84 yards and his first NFL touchdown to bring his season totals to 18 catches (on 22 targets) and 186 yards.

Surprisingly, that statistical eruption came while playing a season-low 74% of the team's offensive snaps. But that was in a comfortable 20-6 Lions victory.

Detroit is a 2-point road favorite when looking to make your Lions vs. Packers predictions for Thursday. In a tight game with Lions running back David Montgomery at less than full health, QB Jared Goff should look to his 6-foot-4 red-zone option a little more often around the goal line.
