Amon-Ra St. Brown got paid early in the offseason, paving the path to a fruitful and happy training camp and preseason, which I expect to translate to immediate on-field productivity.

St. Brown enjoyed a prolific 2023 campaign and enters the 2024 season among the Offensive Player of the Year odds favorites. Jared Goff's primary target, St. Brown, finished the last season with 1,515 receiving yards, averaging 95 per contest.

He and his Detroit Lions welcome the Los Angeles Rams to Ford Field as the Sunday Night Football odds favorites at our best NFL betting sites

St. Brown looks to emulate his performance against the Rams in last season's wild-card playoff game. The contest kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC).

The below St. Brown SNF player prop bet predictions are part of our comprehensive Week 1 NFL predictions.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Pick Over 83.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Rams' secondary was woeful last season, graded the second-worst coverage unit by PFF. The porous unit didn't improve in the postseason, allowing the highest completion percentage (88%) of wild-card weekend at Ford Field against the Lions.

Thankfully for every Rams fan, head coach Sean McVay made fixing his secondary one of the top offseason priorities. He brought in safety Kamren Curl and cornerbacks Tre’Davious White and Darious Williams.

While excellent news for the long-term, Williams won't be available after injuring his hamstring. There's more bad news on the injury front, as Derion Kendrick tore his ACL and is out for the season.

That's music to St. Brown's ears, who roasted the Rams to the tune of 110 yards in the Lions' wild-card win. Our Rodrigo Villagomez thinks his quarterback could have a big day, as discussed in his Rams vs. Lions player props.

St. Brown had at least 84 receiving yards in 11 of 16 games last season and hit the Over in six of seven home encounters.

I love his chances of doing the same on Sunday. bet365 offers the best price of our best sports betting apps, and a winning $10 bet will profit $9.09.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 7.5 receptions (+112) ⭐⭐⭐

With at least eight receptions in seven of 16 games last season, this one will be more challenging for St. Brown to hit the Over.

Based purely on last season's success rate, the 47.17% implied probability of this prop hitting makes sense.

That said, the Rams enter the game pretty banged up, with new cornerback Williams, who had a PFF coverage grade of 85.3 last season, unavailable. That means recently acquired White will probably be tasked with slowing St. Brown.

While an excellent corner, White missed most of last season with a torn Achilles and hasn't played a competitive game since October. That doesn't sound like a recipe for success against one of the league's elite receivers.

Caesars offers the best price, trading at +112. A winning $10 bet will yield an $11.20 profit.

Amon-Ra St. Brown anytime TD (+100) ⭐⭐⭐

St. Brown scored a touchdown in the opener against the Chiefs last season and finished with 10 scores in 16 games.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a torrid pace to end the 2023 campaign, scoring a touchdown in four straight.

It also helps that this game is expected to be a shootout. So much so, that our Mike Spector has a Rams receiver's anytime TD in his Rams vs. Lions prediction and Philip Wood thinks that Goff could go for 3+ TDs in his Stafford vs. Goff player props.

DraftKings offers the best price on this prop. The rest of our best sports betting apps offer minus-money odds, so DraftKings is the way to go.

The +100 odds will yield a $10 profit on a winning $10 bet.
