The Chiefs have been getting away with not looking their sharpest for several weeks. While we can’t guarantee Kansas City won’t survive on another miraculous play seldom seen, we like the Chargers keeping things close.

- The Chiefs are 2-4 ATS at home
- Kansas City hasn’t had a regulation win by a margin greater than Sunday’s spread in its past five games
- Since their previous matchup with the Chiefs, the Chargers are 6-2 outright with only one loss by a margin greater than Sunday’s spread

Gus Edwards Under 35.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Though Edwards is ostensibly next in line for rushing opportunity after JK Dobbins landed on IR, we don’t see Edwards being overly productive against the Chiefs’ stout run defense.
- Kansas City allows the third-fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL (87.8 yards per game)
- Albeit in a backup role, Edwards logged just 19 yards on six carries for a 3.2 YPC against the Chiefs earlier this season
- As the lead back last week against the Atlanta Falcons, Edwards drew only six carries for 32 yards

The Charger defense has allowed the eighth-fewest receptions to wide receivers and it falls in the middle-of-the-pack against tight ends. But Los Angeles has allowed the seventh-most receptions per game to running backs.
That creates opportunity in conjunction with a plus-money line for Pacheco on Sunday night.
