Jayden Daniels may be the early NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds favorite, but Caleb Williams is showing signs that he could make it a two-horse race.

The Chicago Bears’ prized quarterback has thrown for more than 300 yards in two of his last three starts, helping Chicago open the year with a 3-2 record while shortening their Super Bowl odds.

As the Bears’ confidence in Williams grows, so have their attempts taking shots down the field for scores. All five of Williams’ passing TDs have come in his last three games, including two apiece versus the Carolina Panthers last week and the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

There might be no better secondary to exploit right now than the Jaguars, who have been torched for nine TD passes over the past three weeks. On the year, Jacksonville has allowed 10 touchdown passes and has yet to record a single interception.

The best way to attack the Jaguars’ defense is through the air, and that’s what opponents have done to Jacksonville so far this season.

The Houston Texans and Colts each attempted at least 40 passes against the Jags in the past two weeks, compiling 682 yards and five touchdowns in that span.

We probably only need 30 attempts from Williams to cash this prop, considering how accurate he’s been over the past month. After opening the year going just 14-for-29 versus the Tennessee Titans, Williams has connected on two-thirds of his throws since.

Caleb Williams longest rush Over 10.5 yards (-120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Although Williams has yet to run for a TD in his young career, the Bears QB is capable of making big plays with his legs. Williams has broken off runs of 11-plus yards in three of five games this season and racked up 34 rushing yards in last week’s victory over the Panthers.

Jacksonville has been susceptible to rushing quarterbacks this year, allowing runs of 11-plus in four of five - including a 21-yard run to 39-year-old Joe Flacco last week against the Colts.

The Jags have also recorded six sacks in their last two games, and pressure could force Williams to leave the pocket and scramble downfield more than he’d like on Sunday.
