Buccaneers vs. Chiefs Player Props: Monday Night Football Odds & MNF Prop Bets
The defending Super Bowl champions look to stay unbeaten tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN/ABC) as the Kansas City Chiefs (7-0) host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to conclude NFL Week 9.
The Chiefs are nearly double-digit favorites by the latest Monday Night Football odds to advance to 8-0 through the first nine weeks. But our best Buccaneers vs. Chiefs MNF prop bets expect a strong showing for the Buccaneers' passing attack.
Baker Mayfield leads the league in passing TDs (21) and ranks second in passing yards per game (273.6), though with top receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on the mend, he'll need to target a new pass-catcher tonight against the reigning champs.
Conversely, Patrick Mahomes is looking to shake off an unsteady start as a passer for the Super Bowl odds favorites after throwing more interceptions than touchdowns entering this Week 9 finale.
As highlighted in our Buccaneers vs. Chiefs prediction, our Week 9 NFL predictions expect both quarterbacks to be leaned on heavily with injuries to their top wide receivers.

Baker Mayfield Over 236.5 passing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
In his first game without Evans or Godwin, Mayfield threw for 330 yards against the Atlanta Falcons. Without much of a run game to speak of, Mayfield threw the ball 50 times, as his team played from behind for the majority of the second half. This week’s game should follow an almost identical script.
The Bucs are allowing the fifth-most points in the league, and while the Chiefs’ offense has been disappointing, they’re still a top-10 scoring offense in the league. The Chiefs will jump out to an early lead, and Mayfield will throw nonstop. The Chiefs are allowing 212.7 passing yards per game, but Mayfield has thrown for at least 300 yards in four of his last five games.
The total is set at 236.5 at our best sports betting sites. All prices are set between -110 and -115, so there isn’t much value to be had in taking one sportsbook over the other.
Best odds: -110 via bet365 | Implied probability: 52.38%
Patrick Mahomes Over 0.5 interceptions (+105) ⭐⭐⭐
Mahomes has thrown at least one interception in each of his games this season, yet, every major sportsbook is favoring him to not throw one this week. Because of that, the price for him to throw one is at least +100 at all of our Super Bowl betting sites. To get a price that suggests Mahomes has less than a 50% chance of doing something that he’s done in 100% of games is too good to pass up.
The Bucs are tied for 16th in the league, averaging 0.6 interceptions per game. While they’re far from a guarantee to pick off an opposing quarterback, they’re also much better than multiple opponents Mahomes has thrown an interception against this season.
With Mayfield throwing the way he is, Mahomes will likely throw at least 25 passes to lead his team to victory, just like he’s done in every other contest this season. And 25 passes have been enough for him to throw at least one pick in every game, and nothing suggests that trend will change tonight.
Best odds: +105 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 48.78%
Cade Otton anytime touchdown scorer (+240) ⭐⭐⭐
Last week, Cade Otton definitively proved he’s the guy with Evans and Godwin both out. He caught nine of his 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns. He has now been targeted 20 times in the last two weeks.
The Chiefs are allowing 1.3 passing touchdowns per game this season. They’re also allowing the second-most yards to tight ends, and they’ve allowed two to find the end zone this season.
Mayfield has thrown at least three touchdown passes in four consecutive games. Considering the Chiefs’ defensive numbers, Mayfield is likely to throw multiple again. With Otton his favorite target, getting this at +215 or better, which every sportsbook is offering, makes this the best touchdown prop of the game.
Best odds: +240 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 29.41%
