After 12 seasons playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, rumors are swirling that Giannis Antetokounmpo may be suiting up in a different uniform next season after a third straight first-round exit from the NBA playoffs.

It's clear Doc Rivers isn't going to help the Bucks return to glory while Giannis is still in his prime, but does that mean general manager Jon Horst would really move on from the best player in the team's history? I have my doubts that the nine-time All-Star will start the 2025-26 season on another roster - and clearly, our best NBA betting sites do, too.

Unless a team is willing to give up enough for Milwaukee to truly reset and rebuild, moving Antetokounmpo with two full years left on his contract (plus a player option for 2027-28) seems like a bold move. Milwaukee is far more likely to bring back its legend and see how the team looks at the start of the year - and how the Damian Lillard injury impacts the roster - before jumping the gun and trading the best player in franchise history.
