I just played so friggin bad. had KK and flop came 5J something else low. I bet to the river with 99 on turn and river and guy pushes all in. I'm thinking he has a set so I fold. I asked him to show and he had 52. Very next hand I have K10 with KA3 on flop. I bet guy raises, I call and turn comes 10. I bet he raises all in and has A3 Worst tourney yet.

Brutal. Slow played KK, min raising. Some guy keeps shoving. Turns out he had 3/10 and flopped a 10. Dude rivers a 10 and wins with three of a kind, beating my two pair.

Another day of SBR poker where the best hand hardly ever wins, I had KK and tad0matic had KK as well, garretman raised to 1,200 preflop with 10,10 and me and tad both called. Flop comes 10-2-2 and fuks both me and tad with our KK. Game over. I finished 18th..right outside the final table yet again. It seems like I always place somewhere in the teens 13th-18th and just cannot get the right luck to make the final table more often. I need some of that Thaddeus luck.

If my calculations are correct, yesterday was the half way point. I originally thought ~35 would be enough to win it, but based on the scores (other than mine), I now expect at least one of you to get more than that. Thus, my 36 isn't enough for me to feel confident about having this thing won yet.

Also, second place is still worth quite a bit, so keep your spirits up.

I finished 7th in the 3 PM.

A lot of top hands losing. To cap it off, my final hand was QQ (all in, didn't have enough for bb), and it lost to KJ and K something. Oh well. Can't complain too much about that. K came on the flop and then another K came on the river, as if it needed any help.

I hung around a long time, actually, but no one was calling. I was hoping to at least finish a few spots higher with showdowns, but it was mostly someone shoves, everyone folds. The few times it went to showdown, the lower stack won.

I got rivered several other times in the tournament, but nothing compared to that hand I mentioned. That was the worst (3/10 beating KK).

Props to NittanyLion for correctly predicting my comeback (after that brutal hand, I almost got bounced, but came back to be right in it for some time). I thought I wasn't going to last.

garbage man. Finish 9th, was at a great table for my strategy to beat but of course someone flops an open ended straight draw and they call when I shove. Just peel it off on the turn and Im gone.

On plus side I look over at other table and Thad is busting out right as I am. He must have been a split second faster cause they gave me 9th.

DS & I went out about the same time in the 8pm, but my hand ended first so I got tenth and he got 9th. (Strangely enough, us 2 and another guy all busted on simultaneous hands with 11 left. That's why the tables hadn't merged yet.)

I had 99 in the BB. Micro stack allins and SB calls and I call. 7 high flop. SB min bets, so I allin. Turns out he was double slow playing AA. Turn is an A eliminating the tiny chance I had left.

So, "only" 1 point for me today. A few of you even managed to gain ground.

EDIT: And now we post our story at about the same time. LOL!

I don't know how you guys do it, I am short stack, I open push from late position with QJoff. The BB calls off half his stack with J 6 off. Of course a J 6 comes on the board...

Well, everyone will be happy to know I didn't place today. I have a top 10 stack and get KK first to act and I raise. Next guy allins and 2 people call; last guy (Ireland) very slight re-reraises allin, which prevents me from re-re-reraising allin. 10 2 2 flop. I allin and the other 2 call. I have everyone covered except for one guy who flips up A10. Ireland has AA and another guy has QQ. The one and only remaining A hits on the turn busting me and putting Ireland into a massive lead, and keeping the A10 donkey strong. (Calling a 5 way allin with a10 almost certainly means you need at least 2p to win - in this case more - and thus is a horrid play.) Had the A/10 not hit, I would have still had a decent stack since I had Ireland covered by a significant margin. Will Ireland hold on? Only time will tell
