I saw you were still in when it got down to 15 or so and was expectign to see you at final table (I was 2nd at the time)... Blinds drained me a bit as a couldn't get a hand. It got to 10 and I was still in good shape about 4-5th. Two people survived allin with 3 outs to keep me from moving up. I get KK and someone raises ahead of me. Naturally, I allin and he calls... with AA. I go out 10th. Oh well, at least it wasn't a bad beat and I got 1 point.

Yeah, I saw you had a bunch of chips at one time. Get 12 handed and call with AQ vs under pair, 14k chip pots or so. Blank...Could have maybe grinded to top ten but wanted to play for win.

Can't say Im too upset you only got 1, dont want you running away with this thing quite yet.

If you had made final table, I was going to comment that you and I were running away with it... Maybe tomorrow.

My prediction is that 30 points will win this, so I just need another 1st place finish to give myself a good shot.

2nd in the first one and the second is still going. Down to the last four. Started at 9 PM EDT.

ESPN poker tournaments? I've never seen anything about ESPN poker before on their website or even heard of it before. What can you win?

I went to (http://espn.go.com/poker/) and didn't see anything about ESPN having their own poker program...hmmm

there's an espn poker program

they had wsop qualifiers

don't think they have other prizes
it's like poker stars play chip. they use PS platform

I'm still HU with a guy. It's been like 45 minutes. 9 PM tourney just won't end.

If there's a record, we've got to be getting close. 40 man tournament lasting 3:30 and counting. Blinds keep going up. 2500/5000 now.

AK, guy raises me preflop. Reraise. He calls. I have 1200 and change left. Flop comes 8, K, another card. I bet the rest. He calls. He has 86! Turn ok, river a 6

AK loses to 68 as he rivers a card. No idea why dude was shoving with 86 offsuit anyway.

finished 6th in 1pm. made an absolutely horrible call on the chip leader... i was in second with 27k, he was in first with 28k. can barely even talk about it... this post is just a little bit of a release. let's just put it this way... he had a flush on the turn and i didn't even think twice about it... donkiest call i've ever made. was sitting with a A high straight at the turn too.

29th in the 3 PM. It wasn't that I went in big on hands and lost. It's that I didn't have good cards. Not once.

My best hand of the tournament was JA, and I had to fold that after the flop. I didn't have a pair of any kind the entire way, and the best hand I had (including the cards out) was twice a Q hit (once on turn, once on river), AFTER I had folded my queen.

Incredible. Almost 40 minutes and nothing. The only way I could've lasted longer, really, would have been to try the popular SBR all-ins with no cards.

I should have actually won. Even stacked final two and he allins, I called with 66 and he flipped over 44. 9 8 7 flop, cutting his chances even further. But, the str8 didn't come and the river was a 4.

That said, I was lucky to make 2nd. Was short stacked from 6 players down to two and had to survive several allin coin flips and minor underdogs to get the 2nd. (But, I did make the right choice on each allin - with my remaining stack at the time, I had to take a chance every time and hope to win a flip.)

P.S. Thanks to astrodomer for min raising QQ early and thus allowing my A4s to flop 235 and take down a 3 way allined flop.

I had already said GG and was walikng away , I had the vixen on my side , couldn't lose...

Gotta love variance. Last month I had the worst luck and cashed 3 times all month (with 5 of 30 paid in each event) This month I've had good luck (in the form of big hands at the right times) and have cashed 3 already (with 3 of 60 paid in each event).
