Ya, there are some crazy-blind plays out there.

And people are getting really nasty in the poker games. I am surprised at the level of venom and nasty attitudes here sometimes. Overall I think there are a lot of nice and smart people here in SBR but man there are quite a number of people who have no concerns with spitting out vitriole at the drop of a simple "lol".... Wow.

Bosco man I'm rooting for you. Your a solid player with a bad luck streak the size of Ireland's HU's skills . You will find that each little slice of SBR has it's own sub culture. I personally venture into all of them, but I find in honesty you can't beat the poker section.

I believe it has to do with that the fact poker players are groomed to ask, think, and help one another in all aspects of our betting sport . From strategy to consultation to even Staking we all have been there for one another which honestly for a FORUM is amazing.

There is a point where even if you're good it doesn't matter, even when I make all the right moves/plays I usually take a sick beat...this 8 page thread is littered with my bad beat responses since this contest began as I'm sure many of you have read...my suited AK losing to unsuited AK, my AK losing to AQ....on and on.

I'm gonna spectate him right now and see how he does, I gotta watch how he does this time and time again.

Hes running good and he s a good player. Combo the two and you'll usually get pretty far. I had a spurt last month where I final tabled 8 straight tourneys as I ran phenomenal. Now, cant win when I have them dominated and a coin flip I might as well accept as a loss.

To answer your question, I have ben fortunate to get good cards when I needed them and take very few bad beats this month. Last month, I ran well below expectation, but this month I've run well above expectation. Today's tourney was actually a struggle. I won nothing much for the first 45 minutes, including having everyone fold to my big blind when I had KK. (Folding all the way around basically never happens early.) Finally, I won a 3 way allin - my AQ vs 10 10 and 8 8 (I was first to allin) to triple up. Lost about half back on horrid beat though. 10 9 8 flop and I have 10 9 in BB. I put guy allin and he calls with AQ, rivering the J.

So, now I have about 5 BBs left and suddenly things turn around. I allin A10 and everyone folds (which is what I wanted). 2-3 hands later I have AA and raise, guys reraises allin and I double up. 2-3 hands later, I take down some more blinds with AK. 2-3 after that I have AA again and double up again. Thus, I went from nearly out to 1st place in about 1 rotation.

The rest of the tournament was break even poker for me until I lost a flip with 5 left to cripple me and then went out a few hands later.


And yes, I do need to pick an avatar already.

I think I was first guy out of 3pm... didn't even look but I lost on first hand with 1010. Hit a 10 on the turn and shoved all in to tadomatics raise. tad had KQ, i think the flop was 6Q9. 10 came... he hit the straight on the river.

Another day of SBR poker where the best hand hardly ever wins, I had KK and tad0matic had KK as well, garretman raised to 1,200 preflop with 10,10 and me and tad both called. Flop comes 10-2-2 and fuks both me and tad with our KK. Game over.

I finished 18th..right outside the final table yet again. It seems like I always place somewhere in the teens 13th-18th and just cannot get the right luck to make the final table more often. I need some of that Thaddeus luck.

BTW Yisman, I told you it wasn't over when you said you were done, u made the final table.
