there is a doc file with results from Monday 5/9 earlier in this thread (post #131 - p4). I can't open it - don't seem to have what I need to see a doc file. Can someone post or pm me the top 10 from ONLY the 8pm game for that day.
I've been keeping some stats for my own amusement and 8pm 5/9 is only result I didn't get.
Mainly , I'm keeping track of how many qualify with a top 3 finish (many think that should be necessary), and the highest qualifying finish for those who never get a top 3, and also how many top 3 finishes people have. So far the leader for top 3 is frankzig with 4. I think 4 others, including your leader Thaddeus, have 3.
So far, the worst finish to qualify is 11th. That should go much lower.
I need the top 10 or so finishers from 5/9 8pm to be perfectly accurate.

14th, damm! If only ncubowen did not have QQ. I open pushed with less than 10xBB with K J. I got an insta-call/raise from Mighty_Maron with K 10 off.... (based on that, I have a better nickname in mind....).

22nd in 6 PM. Another one of those amazing tournaments where nothing hit. No good pockets, nothing good on the flop. Folded repeatedly to raises.

Early exit for me today (38th). I didn't win a single showdown big or small and only won one pot total (when I raised with AK and c-bet blank flop). Had I went out on I have Ah10h and call, guy after me raises and 2 others+myself call. Flop is 10 5 2 rainbow. First to act min bets, a guy calls, I allin, and last guy (the original raiser) folds. The guy who min bet calls with Qh5h and the other guy folds. 5 turn, Q river. What a joke that 1) he played q5 into a raised pot, 2) he called allin with shit (against a guy who has literally bet 1 hand all game), 3) he picks up full house doing so.
Oh well, I guess I was due for a bad beat bust out.Comment -

30 or so left and I shove 3k at blind levels of 150 300 and catch an insta call from K 10 when I have 5 5. Of course I make it to river clean until a king ends my day early.

At least I can say, that Sin took me out Or at least crippled me. The next guy called with K6 to my Top pair decent kicker all in push short stacked. Of course he hits runner runner flush..With the King making him a 6 high flush to add insult to injury.

I probably would have gone all-in, KQs with 10BB and no raises so far. Maybe dikefale would have folded Q9o and you would have won the pot. I don't like the call with such a small stack since its easy for many players to see the flop cheaply.Comment -
Really, besides open shoving pre-flop (since you only had 10xBB), there isn't much you can really do here.
With that type of hand and 10xBB, open-shoving would be best as you really want to just take the hand there and then.
Also, IMHO, dikefale should have open shoved to pickup the dead money with just over 10xBB also. Therefore you would have likely called and the same outcome would have applied.
Just my opinion.

I just got lucky at the final table of the 3 PM.
Had JK offsuit, someone had AA, and I somehow hit a flush.
I called because I was down to my last chips. Then he shows AA and I figured I was a goner.

this shit is getting beyond frustrating. 2 aces in the big blind 50 100 blinds and I have about 4k. four limpers including first to act. I make it 1100 to go when it comes to me in big blind. First to act shoves 2500. I call, AA vs J9 (hearts)
