Damn, finished 10th in the 10pm ET tonight, blinds were 600/1200 and I had AJ, I pushed all in preflop with 6k in chips and got called by AK. Flop came AQ3 so even if I had just called the BB my fate was sealed, not folding AJ.

Pretty unlucky day.

Down to 88 something (889?). Go all in with AJ, because otherwise I'm going to get drained soon.

A donk calls with 4J off, flop comes 4. I lose. Finished 19th.

Very dumb call, because I played the whole time by the book and didn't raise/bet without a pretty good hand.

Also, no normal chat people at my tables. The chat was people cursing each other out for 5 minutes, and then all was silent.

I actually didn't want to play 3 PM, but by the time I remembered, I was locked in.

I decided to finish the month strong.

I was actually playing for 9th (to get my lead above 10), but kept hanging around at the final table. Somehow I moved all the way up to third, which mathmatically guarantees me points and realistically guarantees me 1st.

Well two straight brutal beats and Im eliminated out of money. Both by the same guy, cloudagh. First he raises early and I have AK. Flop come A 3 7 two clubs. He checks I bet slightly under the pot. He min raises and I push he calls. My Ak vs his AJ. Turn blank river the beatiful jack. And I take a monster hit.

Later have stack back to around 4k or so and I get KQ on button. Two limpers ahead so I call and see flop. J 10 3, no flushes, Checks to me and I check. Ace on turn, I have nuts. CHecks to me again and I bet three quarters of pot, guy pushes, I call. He slow played flopped set of threes. Surprisingly river pairs board and Im gone.

Yes, I turned straight, all the chips went in and he rivers a boat.

Not as bad a beat as first one but still pretty frustrating.

I'm in trouble in the 3 PM. I would've liked to play later, but there's an awards ceremony tonight.

Looks like I'm going to finish 4th this month. I'll be back next month, and since I'm around more often, I should be able to play when I want. Hopefully I keep hitting those final tables.

hmm, maybe I spoke too soon. I'm still alive. I won a nice hand.

really bad luck on a string of hands

10K, someone had only 320, so they bet all in, five callers, including me.

10 and two lower cards hit on flop, I raise, everyone folds. So it's me and the all in guy. Turns out he had A10. Outkicked.

Then someone goes all in with about 1100, I call with A7, turns out it's JJ. Lose, down to about 1100. Then the next few hands I get disconnected twice and have awful hands on the blinds.

It was looking promising. I might've been able to fold my way to the final table.

finished tied for 14th. AJ lost to AQ. KJ10 hit, giving the 10 to A straight.

My average finish was 19th this month.
