The Week 13 NFL odds are out, and we have a full slate for the first time in what feels like a lifetime. But don't get too used to that because we have to stretch bye weeks into Week 14, It's ridiculous, but we'll deal with that when we get there.

Our NFL betting sites will have a busy week with games spread over four days, including a Thanksgiving triple-header, and a Black Friday tussle.

  • The week gets underway with a Thanksgiving triple-header:
    • The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions square off in a holiday classic (12:30 p.m. ET, CBS)
    • An NFC East tilt between two underperforming squads as the New York Giants visit the Dallas Cowboys (4:30 p.m. ET, FOX)
    • The Miami Dolphins visit the Green Bay Packers (on a Thursday night, but not officially a Thursday Night Football odds tilt) in a game with major playoff implications (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC/Peacock/Universo)

NFL Week 13 odds and lines

There's an edge to betting NFL odds while trying to beat the closing line. The closer you wait until game time to make your NFL picks, the more difficult it becomes to identify advantages and secure the best number on most side bets or totals.

That's why it's important to start monitoring the NFL opening odds each week as soon as possible. A proactive approach will aid your long-term success.

Here are the biggest questions we had heading into last week, and the answers (along with how they've impacted the lines)

  • The Bears likely can't keep up with the Lions on Thanksgiving, but will the offense show continued improvement in their second game with a new OC?
    • It was another positive performance from QB Caleb Williams and the offense, scoring 27 points in an overtime loss to the Vikings; the Lions still pulled further away heading into Week 13
  • Tommy DeVito is taking over under center for the Giants - will that make any difference at all to the outlook of their game against the Cowboys?
    • Yeah, it was somehow even worse than Daniel Jones; the Cowboys are even bigger favorites, going from -144 to -215 after DeVito's performance and the Cowboys upset of the Commanders
  • How will the Chiefs bounce back from their first loss of the year?
    • It was another nailbiter from the Chiefs, who only put away the 3-8 Panthers on the final drive of the game in a 30-27 win; they've pulled even further away after the Raiders QB Gardner Minshew suffered a season-ending injury
  • How will the Ravens bounce back from an awful output in a key divisional game loss in Week 11?
    • It was a bit of a slow start for the Ravens, putting up a goose eggs in the opening quarter before racking up 30 points in a MNF victory over the chargers
