The Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's Big Game, and we're highlighting our best Super Bowl receiving prop predictions based on the NFL odds from our best Super Bowl betting sites.

There will be plenty of talented receivers on the field at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs face the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl. But which of them will stand above the rest?

The Chiefs' defense has held opponents to just 181.5 passing yards per game in the playoffs, holding three MVP-level quarterbacks in check to return to the Super Bowl. They'll face their toughest test yet against the 49ers, who are favored by the latest Super Bowl odds because of their array of talented offensive stars.

San Franciscoo's defense has been hit and miss down the stretch, and Patrick Mahomes is playing the best football of his career. He's the favorite by the latest Super Bowl MVP odds, but will his receivers step up on Sunday?

To accompany our Chiefs vs. 49ers prediction and other Super Bowl predictions, here are our best Super Bowl receiving props for Chiefs vs. 49ers (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Super Bowl receiving prop predictions

George Kittle Under 3.5 receptions (+128 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

The price for Kittle to catch at least four passes in the Super Bowl is very expensive. Fanduel has that total listed at -158, which isn’t much higher than the -150 available at other sportsbooks. Are we sure the the 49ers’ tight end is going to have a good game?

Kittle has caught three or fewer passes in 11 of his 18 games this season. He has gone for at least seven catches in four games, proving that when he does have solid games, it’s generally because of a mismatch that the 49ers want to exploit.

However, the Chiefs have been one of the best teams defending tight ends this season. In a game where the 49ers are going to struggle to throw, QB Brock Purdy may use Kittle as a safety net. We think he will be used more as a blocker to give Purdy time.

Every major sportsbook is offering odds of +110 or better, but the +128 at FanDuel is too good to pass up.

We dove further into Kittle's outlook on Sunday with our breakdown of the best George Kittle NFL player props.

Rashee Rice Over 6.5 receptions (-105 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Rice has been Mahomes’ second-favorite target behind Kelce for the second half of the season, including the playoffs. He’s been targeted 25 times already this postseason with 20 catches during that span. Since Week 12, he’s caught at least six passes in seven of nine games, and he still caught four and five balls in those two outliers.

The interesting thing with Rice is that he doesn’t always rack up a lot of yardage. However, the Chiefs are making a concerted effort to get him involved in every game. He had only four targets in the Division Round against the Buffalo Bills, but he is still averaging nine targets per game over his last nine contests.

None of the major sportsbooks are offering this price at +100 or greater, but Caesars is close with its price of -105. Keep an eye on this line as kickoff approaches. With how it’s currently looking, this number may drop to 5.5.

Christian McCaffrey 40+ receiving yards (+132 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Including the postseason, McCaffrey has gone for at least 40 receiving yards in seven games - including the NFC Championship, when he caught four passes for 42 yards against the Detroit Lions while breaking a 28-yarder at one point.

Perhaps it would make more sense to take the over for his receptions, but those odds are steep right now. Instead, we recommend playing this prop for a solid plus-money price.

McCaffrey has caught 78 passes through 18 games this season, an average of 4.3 per game. He will likely be the check down option for Purdy in this game, and once he has the ball in his hands, there’s no telling when he will be stopped.

FanDuel and DraftKings are the only sportsbooks offering alt lines at the moment. DraftKings' price is +140 for over 42.5 yards. While it’s only three yards, we will take the slightly shorter odds for the better number.

We further discuss the 49ers star tailback in our Christian McCaffrey NFL player props.
