Nick Bosa player props predictions

Nick Bosa to record a sack (+100 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nick Bosa has the third-most playoff sacks of any player in his first five seasons (10), and his 50 sacks since 2021 (including the playoffs) are the most in the NFL, per PFF. Bosa is used to attention from opposing offensive lines, getting double-teamed on 26% of pass rushes this season, the fourth-highest rate among edge rushers, per Next Gen Stats.

Despite that extra attention, Bosa recorded two sacks in the NFC Championship and has had at least one sack in six of his previous 11 games. Some bettors may prefer to pay up slightly for DraftKings' -115 odds, as their O/U is set at 0.25 and would cash even if Bosa has a half-sack.

However, considering Bosa ended with a stat line of 0.5 sacks in just two games this season, we are opting for the plus-money odds at Caesars, which is much better value than the -115 odds that we're seeing at our other best sports betting sites.

We took a further look at Bosa and others in our Super Bowl sacks odds and other defensive props.

We are not usually in the business of laying this hefty of a price on any prop wager, but considering Bosa has multiple solo tackles in four of the last five games (including the two playoff wins) and seven of the previous nine games, bettors should not have to sweat too much to cash this Over. For those bettors who prefer to seek better returns, BetMGM offers +200 odds for Bosa to record the team’s first sack. George Karlaftis more tackles and assists than Nick Bosa (+205 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Get a no-sweat 3+ leg NFL SGP through FanDuel for Kansas City vs. San Francisco. Click here!

DraftKings has the O/U for Nick Bosa’s tackles and assists set at 2.5, while George Karlaftis’s O/U is at 3.5. Thus, while Bosa’s Over is juiced to -175 and Karlaftis’s Under carries a hefty -190 price tag, the fact that oddsmakers initially instilled Karlaftis with a higher O/U makes the +205 odds seem like excellent value in FanDuel’s head-to-head prop market.

Karlaftis had an outstanding season for the Chiefs with double-digit sacks. Per PFF, he is coming off an impressive performance against the Baltimore Ravens, where he had three cleanup pressures, five quarterback pressures, one sack, and his first-ever postseason fumble recovery.

This is an excellent value play, as Karlaftis has had four tackles and assists in each of the last two playoff games, while Bosa has totaled three in each of the first two rounds. And Karlaftis has one extra playoff game under his belt this season, where he recorded six combined tackles and assists, including 1.5 sacks. Thus, Karlaftis has a high ceiling while lined up over right tackle Colton McKivitz, who entered last week tied for 55th among all offensive linemen with 12 sacks allowed this season.
