SGP predictions for Seahawks vs. Cowboys
Seahawks +9 (-112) ⭐⭐⭐
Could it be as simple as the Cowboys are due for a lapse and the Seahawks genuinely can’t afford another one? Ever since falling narrowly short of a massive upset against the Eagles, Dallas has rolled, notching three straight victories by 23-plus points.
Meanwhile, Seattle has dropped two straight games to fall back toward the pack in the NFC wild-card race. This line that features the Cowboys as nine-point favorites feels overly reliant on recency, as the Seahawks have suffered a couple of ugly losses to contenders of late.
The trends favor the Cowboys, as Dallas is 5-0 ATS in home games this season. However, Seattle has managed a respectable 3-2 ATS record on the road.
It’s the number that just feels out of line here, as Dallas’ recent blowout wins have all come against non-contenders. This feels like a game the Cowboys win but not by the massive spread that peaked at +9.5 earlier in the week.

Dak Prescott Over 24.5 completions (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
We still believe the Cowboys will win, so we’re not angling to fade their players on prop picks that can juice up our parlay odds from a contrarian angle. Seattle’s pass defense has allowed 230.7 passing yards per game, ranking 22nd in the NFL in the category, so that seems like a reasonable place to start.
That’s especially true given the recent passing success for Dak Prescott, who is working himself back into the MVP conversation with 17 touchdowns to two interceptions over his past five games. During his resurgent stretch, passing completions have been a pretty reliable category, as Prescott has cleared the 24.5 completions mark set by DraftKings in four of his last five games.
The Seattle defense isn’t strong enough against the pass to anticipate that Dak would turn back into a pumpkin in this game. Though the FanDuel odds (-114) on Over for this prop are more favorable than at DraftKings (-125), FanDuel doesn’t permit same-game parlays involving completion totals. Therefore, we’ll play this SGP at DraftKings.

Zach Charbonnet Over 3.5 receptions (+110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
After missing the Thanksgiving game against the San Francisco 49ers, Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker is again unlikely to suit up for Thursday night in Dallas. That leaves rookie runner Zach Charbonnet to clean up the bulk of the workload out of the backfield. It’s a role that could involve a fair bit of receiving opportunities against the aggressive Cowboy pass rush.
Geno Smith will need to rely upon quick outlet passes to move the ball against Dallas. In a projected negative game script, I like Charbonnet to match his recent reception outputs in this matchup. Charbonnet has logged three consecutive games with four or more receptions.
For a total he’s achieved with frequency in his present role, we like the value of the plus-money odds that DraftKings offers on Charbonnet’s reception total in this matchup.
