In the upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles, McCaffrey is set to challenge the third-ranked run defense in the NFL. Despite their ranking, the Eagles have recently allowed an average of 138.0 rushing yards per game over the last three matchups.

Christian McCaffrey Under 72.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
The Eagles allowed the Buffalo Bills to compile 173 rushing yards against them last week. However, the running backs were barely responsible for half of that yardage, as Josh Allen led the team with 81 yards. The Eagles haven’t allowed a running back to rush for 60 yards this season.
McCaffrey leads the league in rushing yards, but he’s had his fair share of lackluster rushing performances this season. He’s rushed for over 100 yards four times, the same amount of games he’s rushed for fewer than 60 yards. With the clear advantage the 49ers have in the passing attack, McCaffrey won’t get enough carries to hit this over against a great run defense.
FanDuel has this prop listed at 73.5, but they’re asking -114 for the under. Because of the price that bet365 is offering, it’s not worth getting the extra yard for FanDuel’s offer.

Christian McCaffrey Over 4.5 receptions (-105 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐
Even though McCaffrey may struggle to run on Sunday, the 49ers aren’t going to cut him from their game plan entirely. He’s caught at least five passes in four consecutive games and averaging 4.4 receptions per contest.
The Eagles have the fourth-worst pass defense in the league so Brock Purdy will throw plenty in this game. While he should succeed going down the field, McCaffrey will always be there as a safety net or on designed screens. McCaffrey going over his reception total is more enticing than his yardage, just in case the Eagles’ defensive front blows up some screens.

McCaffrey has scored a touchdown in all but one game this season. Because of that, his price to score an anytime touchdown is greater than -200 at every one of our major NFL prop betting sites. While that prop is worth parlaying with some other props, it’s hard to justify taking it on its own at such a price.
However, McCaffrey’s first touchdown scorer price is very good across each of our best sportsbooks.
