AFC West teams headed in very different directions collide, as the crumbling Broncos visit the juggernaut Chiefs. After losing to the Lions in Week 1, Kansas City has reeled off four straight wins.

For its part, Denver has lost four of its first five games this season and is desperately searching for an identity. The Broncos have lost 15 straight against the Chiefs, so Thursday provides an opportunity to rebound in more ways than one as we make our best Broncos vs. Chiefs prediction.

To accompany our NFL predictions for Week 6 here are our best Broncos vs. Chiefs NFL player props for Thursday Night Football; don't miss all of our NFL player props for Week 6 (NFL odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Broncos vs. Chiefs NFL player props: Thursday Night Football

Broncos Over 17.5 total points (-106 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Despite their 1-4 record, the Broncos boast the 10th-best points per game average this season (24.2). They have gone Over this total in all but one game this year. In fact, they have surpassed 30 points in a game twice in their first five games. They even managed to score 20 points while giving up 70 to the Miami Dolphins three weeks ago.

Kansas City has allowed an average of 16 points per game to start their season. However, three of those opponents have reached the 18-point barrier needed to cash this prop. The Chiefs have surrendered more than this total to the Broncos in each of their last three meetings going back to the end of the 2021 season.

Isiah Pacheco longest reception Over 8.5 yards (-117 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

While Jerick McKinnon remains the primary back in passing situations, Pacheco has overtaken him in total targets, 13-12. Pacheco is averaging 9 yards per reception this season. In all but one game so far, he has been able to catch a pass for more than this prop total.

Denver has allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game (263) this season. Overall, the Broncos are giving up 11.1 yards per completion to their opponents this year. One running back has caught a pass for at least 9 yards against Denver in every game this season.

Our Brenden Schaeffer also targets Pacheco with his Broncos-Chiefs parlay and Phil Wood looks at his favorite Patrick Mahomes NFL player props which tie into this pick for Pacheco.

Jerry Jeudy Under 53.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Even though Jeudy is second on the Broncos in total targets, he sits as the third-best on the team in total receiving yards. Overall, he is averaging 52 yards per game through his first five weeks. Jeudy has gone Over 54 receiving yards in a game just once this season. In six tries against Kansas City, the Broncos wideout has eclipsed this mark twice.

The Chiefs defense has allowed an average of 204.2 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. That number drops to 168.5 at Arrowhead. The Lions managed to get two of their receivers above this number in Week 1. However, Kansas City shut the doors on the Bears’ passing attack, surrendering just 62 yards to Chicago wideouts.
