PARLAY: GULBIS + KAMKE (Granby Challenger] [-132]
Gulbis draws Falla in LA today. Gulbis made his return to the courts with a good win over Lacko. His serve could be better, but you'd expect it to improve with a match under his belt. He did a good enough job converting breakers, winning 3 of 7. Falla worked past Karol Beck in his opener, but his serve was lacking as he got in just 46% on 1st serves and offered up 13 break opps. Beck did not take advantage as he held 11 of those. Falla is still better on clay than anywhere else and the power game of Gulbis if he avoids stupid errors, should be too much today. Kamke is in Canada on the Challenger level where he has sported a good all-surface game this season with a finals appearance both on clay and hard surfaces. He had no issues making the move from clay back to the hard surface in his opener in Granby with an easy straight sets win. His opponent, qualifier Adam Feeney from Australia, also cruised in his last match. Feeney had been on the sidlines for almost a year until returning this May to the court. There is a clear gap in talent & form right now between these two and Kamke should continue his recent run of success today with a win.
