#458I only play with two places. Last night I had a +7 line and a +5 line for S. Alabama at the same time. Well, you know which one I took. S. Alabama won outright.Comment -

#460I made a spreadsheet last night for RLM plays that will keep track of individual sports win % and overall win % using RLM.
I also use the same "filters" as you. At least 60% bets and at least 1 point movement.
Tonight I had:
Heat +4 (NBA)
Auburn +12.5
USF +10
NorthWestern -3
Fresno +6.5
North Colorado +5.5
Cornell +15.5
Furman +3.5
It's 5-2 so far tonight with a win % of 71.42 pending Fresno StateComment -

#462I went 3-0 in my RLM wagers tonight. All in NCAABB.
Overall record is 33-21-2.
The breakdown of RLM that I have wagered on per sport so far is:
NBA 11-8
NCAABB 14-7-1
NCAAF 5-4-1
NFL 3-2Comment -

#463Fresno State a winner too, 6-2 tonight.
I'm not playing all of these, just keeping track right now. If after 100 plays or so it's over 60% overall, then I'll play all of the plays.
Btw, Louisville is looking good for an NCAAF play tomorrowComment -

#477I'm not counting Raiders because they haven't moved a full point at the comparison site I use. Same with Louisville, the line has actually moved up to -12 now. In NCAAB I'm playing Kent State, Denver, Detroit.Comment -

#481I went 0-4 in my RLM wagers last night. My first really bad night for RLM. Lost one in NFL. Lost one in NCAAF. Lost two in NCABB.
Overall record is 33-25-2.

NBA 11-8
NCAABB 14-9-1
NCAAF 5-5-1

Was that supposed to mean something other than the literal interpretation? I can't remember the last game where they were the RLM play. The last game I can remember that they were involved in and had RLM was vs. SEA and SEA was the RLM play (and lost).Comment -

#483Do you have a criteria for RLM? I think you might do better, in NFL anyway, if you stick to at least 1 point RL moves.Comment -

#484there was a little on Thanksgiving. The line didn't actually move, but the Eagles went from -3 (+105) to -3 (-117) despite like 80% of the action being on the Cardinals.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

From what I can tell "RLM" plays are essentially fading the public and betting on some crappy-ass team in the hopes that they show up and show that you were on the "sharp side".
Oakland is a "RLM" play every week and they are 5-8 ATS
Please stop keeping track of these RLM plays, as they are clearly no better than flipping a coin. If you want to bet a Dog, fine, just stop trying to pretend there is reasoning behind the play. "RLM's" got SMOKED last night, both Oakland and Louisville never even had a shot of a backdoor cover.Comment -

#486hope everybody jumped on this advice! not only did you get the crappiest line, but the bet was losing with 10 minutes to go in the FIRST QUARTER.

#489Man we should have a test and sort posts by the intelligence level of the poster. I'm really tired of seeing over and over the simple idea of a sample size (n=1) making a solid observation for a trend.Comment -
