the line movement with that game has been ridiculous. Who is moving that?

#424Long time lurker here, but I had to sign up just to get some clarification. This site has been a great learning tool for me for the last couple of months.
I'm looking at Sport Insights, and they show 90% of the money in the Oklahoma/Oklahoma St NCAAF game on Oklahoma. Yet the line has moved from OU giving 7.5 down to them only giving 7. WTF? Shouldn't my money be on OSU in this case?
Maybe I'm just a noob. Thanks in advance for your insight.Comment -

#427thank you LT for putting everything in prospective, i have been trying to use system described by you for over a year now, but the way it was explained to me it was just impossible to stick with due to the time constraints on my part. your way it only takes me 25 minutes a day, thank you very much, i have seen your tennis picks as well and do have a question. is there a free site that would show where public leans on tennis simuluar to the one you recommended for American Sports?Comment -

#428I think he said there can be an exception in footbal points like 3, 7 and 10 for example and thus a move from 7.5 to 7 is big and can be considered a whole point reverse line movement if it was hoops it wouldnt count as a RLM.Comment -

#432Wow, vicious RLM with the Sixers! 72% of the betting on Orlando and yet it goes from Philly -2 to Philly -5???? What the heck do you think is going on there, is someone from the Magic hurt all of a sudden? Also interesting is that in the ESPN preview it lists the line having gone from Philly -2 to Even. What the F.

#436Happy Thanksgiving, RLM'ers!
Man, that Sixers loss hurt me yesterday. Got the Clippers, but that was only a small one for me.
Okay, so what are we liking on Turkey Day? I've only looked at the NFL so far, but seems like we're looking at the Seahawks, huh? Hmmmm.....Comment -

#441All Thanksgiving weekend I thought the SBR forum server was down. I couldn't access this site, but everything else on the web was accessible. I find out Monday from a friend that SBR was never down. For some reason my router is blocking only the SBR site. I have to bypass my wireless router until I can figure out the problem.
Here are my totals from my posted RLM picks before the Thanksgiving weekend. I will be adding my other RLM plays that I wagered on even though they were not posted.
Overall record is 14-10-1.
The breakdown of RLM that I have wagered on per sport so far is:
NBA 7-3
NCAABB 3-2=1
NCAAF 2-3
NFL 2-2Comment -

#445Hey, McRich is back -- I wondered what happened with this thread!
I had a great RLM weekend as well... Was going to post my picks but was just too lazy... Maybe I'll look it up on SIA and post my plays and/or record to see how much it agrees with McRich's.
Yisman, I didn't have the Eagles as a strong RLM play as I recall, but I did like them.Comment -

I am trying to use the guideline of 60%/40% minimum split on bets, a full point minimum move (I have used a 1/2 point move before), and a certain number of bets depending on the sport. LT Profits provided the guideline for the deciding factors somewhere in this thread.
I made a wager on Central Michigan last night also, but it must not have met the RLM standards I have been using when I made the wager: therefore, I did not count that wager in my RLM totals in this thread.
Using this RLM data has without a doubt made me a better capper. I know a dry run can happen anytime, but like I stated before, this is one more tool to help me become better.
I am by no means an expert at this, I am still learning. If you have an RLM play figured out, post it here so I can use it,Comment -

#451I like RLM in college sports.. Pros RLM Suck, even tho i won huge on the SF vs Cards MNF game which that game had HUGE RLM.. I usally stay away from Pros RLM and play what i want even tho the line moves i stick to my plays.. If you want the best way to go about readiing line moves you should really think about getting Sports Insights.Comment -
