Jared Goff Over 271.5 passing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lions running back David Montgomery looks set to return Sunday, which means Detroit will have their entire backfield intact for the first time in weeks. While that could take away from Goff’s passing total, the fact remains that the Chargers have the worst passing defense in football, allowing 286 yards per game.

Goff has cleared this prop total four times this season. In what is sure to be a close, high-scoring game, we expect him to throw the football often. With the abundance of talent the Lions’ receiving corps has, it’s hard to imagine Goff struggling to hit nearly 300 yards against this defense.

At the moment, bet365 is the best sports betting apps offering this total for a price of -110. BetMGM and DraftKings offer this number for -115, while Caesars charges -119. If Goff is going to have a good game, then so should Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown. He has three 100-yard games in a row, and he has cleared the century mark in five of his seven games this season. We’ve already discussed the struggles the Chargers’ secondary has faced, so this is a no-brainer.

Many may look to bet on Detroit tight end Sam LaPorta this week, as his total is set as low as 51.5 yards. We get it, as the Chargers have given up the third-most receiving yards to tight ends this season. While we’re sticking with St. Brown, parlaying the two players to go over could give you a payout of +242.

Keenan Allen Over 80.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our final play is another four-star play on a big-name Over. Los Angeles wide receiver Keenan Allen has just two 100-yard games this season, but he has been consistent even when the Chargers offense has struggled. Last week, he pulled down eight receptions for 77 yards in a game where Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert threw for just 138 passing yards.

The Lions are 15th in the league in passing yards allowed per game, but they have struggled mightily against some of the better offenses in the league. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 357 yards, while Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith threw for 328.

As Herbert’s top target, we expect Allen to have a huge day against a secondary whose numbers are inflated by their competition. Every one of best live betting sites has a posted total of 80.5 yards. The price difference between each is nominal, but bet365 is offering the most value.
