In his first complete game without starting QB Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase caught four passes for 81 yards. Despite being the target on just six of Jake Browning's 26 attempts, Chase accounted for over one-third of the backup QB's passing yards in a 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.
As Week 13 approaches, the Jacksonville Jaguars rank fifth-worst in the NFL in opponent passing yards per game (255), which presents a compelling matchup for the All-Pro receiver. With Browning at quarterback, can Chase produce and deliver an impressive performance on Monday night?

Ja'Marr Chase player props: Monday Night Football
Ja'Marr Chase Over 5.5 receptions (+105 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐
Last week, Chase managed just four catches on six targets. However, Tee Higgins was out of that game. With Higgins out, the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to focus their attention on Chase and prevent Browning from ever getting comfortable with his top target.
With Higgins back in the lineup, the already lackluster Jaguars’ secondary will have to spread their attention among the Bengals’ weapons. That will open up more opportunities for Chase. Additionally, with their season on the line, there is no way Chase isn’t more involved in the game plan on Monday night.
The price for this prop is quite nice at each of our best sports betting apps. The worst price is -108 at FanDuel, but even that would be a price worth playing if three sportsbooks weren’t offering odds of +100 or better.

This play is all about value. Chase has scored a touchdown in two of his last three games and three of his last five. Though he didn’t score one last week against the Steelers, he and Browning did hook up for one against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11.
The Jaguars are giving up 1.6 passing touchdowns per game this season. That’s the seventh-worst in the NFL. Though Browning is still developing as a quarterback, he threw for 227 yards and one touchdown last week. Because he’s more than capable of doing some damage, even if it doesn’t come until garbage time, Browning is worth trusting to throw a touchdown to Chase, especially at this price.

Ja'Marr Chase Over 54.5 receiving yards (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐
Of the four NFL prop betting sites that have this prop listed at 54.5, DraftKings is the only sportsbook offering a price better than -110 for the Over. Every other major sportsbook is favoring Chase to clear this number, including FanDuel, where the total is listed at 57.5.
Once again, this comes down to the Jaguars’ defense. Their pass defense isn’t very good, and though Browning will struggle, there are quite a few ways that he and Chase connect enough to have Chase clear this total. The first way is the most likely.
The Jaguars dominate this game and Chase compiles a bunch of garbage time yards. The other way is the Bengals get the ball to Chase as often as possible, and he eventually breaks one big play against this weak secondary.
Either way, this is a really low number for Chase, especially when you consider he had 81 yards last week. Chase has cleared this number seven times this season, and though most of those games came with Burrow under center, very few of them came against a pass defense as bad as the Jaguars'.
