We've hit two of our anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Sportsbook Review so far during Week 8. Let's keep the good times rolling while looking for outliers in the NFL odds from our best sports betting apps ahead of Monday Night Football.

After getting back into the black during Week 7, our ascent has continued in Week 8.

That began on Thursday night when Josh Allen came through at +210 odds. Then although we missed on Darren Waller and Justin Herbert, Courtland Sutton came through at +290.

Now let's try to hit one last touchdown pick while focusing on the Monday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders.

To accompany our Jared Goff propsRaiders-Lions prediction, and Raider-Lions player props, here is our anytime touchdown scorer prediction for Monday as we look to get the better of our best NFL betting sites.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: Monday

Raiders vs. Lions anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Michael Mayer, Raiders, TE (+400 via FanDuel, Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Raiders' offense predictably sputtered while needing to put Brian Hoyer under center for a week here in the year 2023. There are plenty of problems facing the unit overall, but getting Jimmy Garoppolo back for Monday night will be a significant improvement set to impact every pass-catcher, which very much includes Michael Mayer.

The rookie tight end is only one game removed from being utilized far more through a season-high 57 snaps during Week 6. That led to a breakout performance with five receptions for 75 yards, and Garoppolo was healthy for half of the contest.

Tight ends in general could become a frequent target in an offense that's struggling to push the ball downfield while averaging only 6.7 yards per attempt. And honing in on a rising first-year talent on Monday night against a Lions defense that's already allowed four touchdowns to tight ends would be wise.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: Sunday

Jets vs. Giants anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Darren Waller, Giants, TE (+350 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✖️

Waller is starting to come alive in a significant way after a sluggish start to the season. The veteran tight end recorded just three catches during three of the Giants' opening four contests, averaging a mediocre 38.3 yards per game over that stretch. That average has now spiked to 75.7 yards across the past three weeks.

He's been much more involved for the Giants, especially as a short-yardage security blanket given the team's offensive line struggles. Since Week 5 he ranks second among 42 qualified tight ends in target share (26.8%), according to Fantasy Pros. He also hasn't recorded a drop yet in 2023.

And now a pass-catcher who's been experiencing that sudden uptick in workload (which includes 11 targets in Week 5 and eight in Week 7) will benefit from facing a New York Jets defense that's struggling mightily against tight ends. The Jets have allowed the most touchdowns to the position (five) and the fourth-most fantasy points.

Chiefs vs. Broncos anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Courtland Sutton, Broncos, WR (+290 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✔️

Courtland Sutton's yardage often hasn't been reaching great heights in 2023, as he's averaging a pedestrian 50.1 yards per game. But that's more so a production of the struggling Broncos offense that enters Week 8 ranked 20th in passing yards.

What matters much more for our purposes here is that when the Broncos do score, they're almost exclusively doing it through the air. The team has scored 14 offensive touchdowns, and just one has come on the ground. Even better, five of those 13 passing touchdowns have ended in Sutton's hands, all of which have come in the red zone. Sutton is tied for the league lead in red-zone touchdowns, and he's drawing half of the Broncos' red-zone targets.

Pounce on this number through Caesars, as the price for Sutton to score is much lower elsewhere. DraftKings is listing Sutton at +180, while FanDuel is at +220.

Chargers vs. Bears anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Justin Herbert, Chargers, QB (+350 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✖️

Justin Herbert isn't exactly known as a rushing quarterback. But the Chargers passer is aware enough in the pocket to sense the right time to break away when he's in top form, and the signal-caller possesses the vision to find the correct running lane.

That package has led to sneaky respectable rushing totals in the past, including 302 rushing yards in 2021, and five rushing touchdowns during his rookie season. The latter number is our focus here, and he's well on his way to exceeding that career high after already notching three rushing touchdowns through six games in 2023.

That alone makes him worth a sprinkle at these lengthy odds. Toss in the Chargers surely being around the end zone often against an 18th-ranked Chicago Bears defense, and Herbert becomes an even more appealing long-shot play.

He's also available at +2000 through Caesars to score the first touchdown of the game if you want a deep long shot.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions: Week 8: TNF

Buccaneers vs. Bills anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Josh Allen, Bills, QB (+210 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅

This may seem like low-hanging fruit but we're going right back to the well looking for another quarterback rushing (or receiving!) score against the Buccaneers. Don't fault us when the odds from our best sports betting sites make it all too appealing.

Bills QB Josh Allen is projected for 0.4 rushing scores during Thursday Night Football. That implied probability should equate to +150 odds but we're able to get an outlier +210 ticket via FanDuel. Hit that button.

Through Week 7, only two teams have given up more rushing touchdowns to QBs than the Bucs' three. Allen is also coming off his fourth rushing score of the season in last week's loss at the hands of the New England Patriots.

We've seen often through Allen's career that he responds better from a loss than nearly any other signal caller, especially when that rebound can come at home in front of Bills Mafia. The Bills are 8.5-point home favorites and we can safely expect Allen to be a part of that.
