The Seattle Storm (16-15) hope to stop a four-game slide against the Los Angeles Sparks (14-16) at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday from Crypto.com Arena, but we don’t see that happening in our Storm vs. Sparks odds and prediction.

Seattle’s four-game losing streak started with an overtime loss to Los Angeles at home on Aug. 1. The Sparks scored 72 points after the break in their 108-106 victory.

The Sparks scored a season-low 59 points during their 13-point loss to the Valkyries on Saturday. Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby, the team’s top players, combined to go 0-for-7 for zero points and zero assists in the first half against Golden State.

I don’t know about you, but I have a difficult time seeing that happening again.

Los Angeles ranks fifth leaguewide in offensive rating. The Sparks have been second since July 1, when they began their playoff push. Plum is averaging 19.8 points per game, while Hamby is producing 17.6 per contest.

Seattle’s showing in the last head-to-head meeting highlighted how explosive the Sparks can be offensively. Los Angeles was a 4.5-point underdog in that matchup, so I’ll take the same spread in a different venue as a four-star play.
