The "plan" was never fully implemented because the do nothing GOPers simply objected to anything the Obama administration tried to pass, didn't matter what it was, they didn't even try to work with it, simply refused to work with Obama. So of course the plan that got put in to place wasn't very palatable.

The worldwide average top corporate income tax rate is 22.6 percent (30.6 percent weighted by GDP).

So our corp tax rate is nearly double the global average. And that drives business and jobs away.

In the 20's like the 1920's??? Wholly fck. It may depress you to know that John F Kennedy, democrat, was the first to propose massive tax cuts. In the late 70's after democrats with Carter ran the country into the ground one Ronald Reagan put Kennedy's plan into effect which resulted in the greatest economic revival in modern history.

So the answer to your question is that cutting taxes and regulation and being friendly to business is a proven formula to create growth. Smothering business with high taxes and regulation causes the opposite effect. It's really not that complicated.
