I bought a bunch of sh*t coins in the alt/ICO frenzy of Jan/Feb '18. Still got 'em all. Most of them died harsh deaths.

Some are showing signs of resurrection.

my advice would be : do not be afraid to close your old position with a loss . those old projects are contantly losing compared to the market average and will lose in the future. in their fanbase there is absolute lack of positive emotions , investors knew how big those projects were once and there is simply not enough optimism to push their price forward . without hype there will be no spark in coin price . by staying in those old coins and trying to recoup at all costs on your initial inverstment you are basically losing opportunity to find good coins that actually can grow

I have a lot of Cake. Some outrageous percentages to yield farm at PancakeSwap.

If guys like Bake and Cake, it will take some time to figure out how to use Metamask and PancakeSwap. Good tools to have in the box. Yield farming is very risky because of impermanent loss. Bake is up 40x in the last 30 days. Lots of good tokens on BSC.

I'm at CB, Binance.US, and Kraken. Sent BTC to Kraken from CB to buy some ADA and GRT only to find out Kraken doesn't offer GRT to US customers? Ended up getting it at CB but lost a few pennies in the delay. Would have been nice to know ahead of time

I think that was mentioned earlier that you can't get GRT from Kraken. Those 4 exchanges are just nice to have in case you need to find a new coin quickly.

Some other exchanges ban US for trading ERC20 tokens. With some you can go to Coingecko, then click market pairs and it'll let you in to trade.

I keep hearing stories of lower-profile nations taking bigger strides toward Crypto-currencies. Iran keeps showing up as a country linked to Bitcoin.

I'd imagine that the impoverished nations don't like the Bitcoin fees. If they transact in smaller doses, maybe Litecoin is a better fit.

I had some leftover money in Coinbase so I threw it in NuCypher at .28 without knowing about it.

It's now over .84 in about ten days. Any reason other than bitcoin moving this??

No problem, not ranting at thread but at Kraken. Kraken Pro lets you pick the pair, isn't until you try and finalize trade that an error message pops up. Shouldn't get that far. It's all good though, got what I wanted

Not that it's news. My thoughts on the current markets:
*Bullish on Bitcoin. Still more $$ coming in. Hold for sure...but how can u buy at this price?
*Bullish on Litecoin. More I think about it, I like it. Lower fees on smaller T/A.

From today to 12/31/2021, which of these two would have have a higher XX return? I'd rate it:
*BTC +150
*LTC -150

*Bullish on Silver. I have read this story about Short Supply too many times in L4 weeks.
*Bearish on US stocks. I just have no confidence. Propped up, imho.

gonna do a few hours of research tonight on these , GRT has been killing it for us very happy. Market looks healthy right now and i think we can hit a few more big gainers in this bull market rush, especially low ** coins with big potential

Yes, good advice. I'm going to give the tokens that are showing life a chance but the ones that are deader than a doornail need to go. Time for some house cleaning.

My overall point was that in a bull market, you can throw a dart and hit an instant winner because just about everything is going up. Everyone is a financial genius. Big gains can surely be made. I am a hodler and into crypto for 6 figures so my approach is a lot more conservative than playing the fast-money game.... My philosophy is "time in the market is better than timing the market".

appreciate all the info sharing! so back story didn't know sqadush about bitcoin, crypto etc.... on SBR enjoying playing sports/horses with bet points and tournaments....Then I win some bit coin in a contest...."F me what the hell " I'm thinking...... genie saying give us your wallet info... frick what the heck is a wallet? so i look at the info already shared about "getting a wallet and how to do it" again thanks opti, kona and others for guidance ....went with blockchain( again seemed the easiest and safest...got a air drop off 227 shares of stellar to boot!)...so now I get that deposited... and buy more with bet point winnings...... friends are calling "bitcoin" funny money.... "and good luck getting anything" so just to prove them wrong.....and to myself I buy a chromebook with my bitcoin through new egg and a $100 gift card through E-gifter... holy cheap sh## it actually worked!... Bit coin price when I won/bought roughly 4000..when I bought the computer/giftcard.....10000-12000...so effectively.. they didn't cost me sh@@...yeah I know small potatoes.....
well okay i think to myself.... for now on I will only renew with a donation to a charity..... pay it forward( just to be upfront my second year..i did renew with points)...so now I watch my blockchain account increase... looking at raiders 72001, swords, pablo and memento ,Mr sink and others..continue to give input to a great thread!... while I may not get into every coin mentioned I'm happy for you all making some bank!congrats!
I saw blockchain added Algo to their limited selection of coins.... being half lit.... bought in at around a dollar earlier in the week and now on a little run( as with all crypto) any thoughts from the group?
