#10889I'm happy that CZ was pardoned. I'm disappointed with Trump. It's similar to insider trading. If he wasn't in office, I'd have no problem with Trump making money in crypto.Originally posted by Optional

#10894Guys, everything moves in cycles. It's bear season now.
Bitcoin likely to bottom around autumun 2026.
Do not lose your interest for Bitcoin. Study and learn about it.
Remember,
Bitcoin is not crypto.
Bitcoin and ''crpyto'' are different things.
Looking to buy Bitcoin under realized price (56k atm) and LTH Realized price (37k atm) .
PS: These numbers are subject to change as we progress in cycle.
Patience is a virtue.

#10896Guys, it's very interesting!
Bitcoin topped in 2017 December, bottomed in December 2018!
Bitcoin topped in 2021 November, bottomed in November 2022!
Bitcoin topped in 2025 October..so bottom is October 2026? We'll see..
Anyway, Bitcoin is future. Dirty fiat money will be replaced by Sats.👍 1Comment -

#10897Apologies for my salty response but yeah it is good if one wants to reinvest and glad you got that opportunity. It is not fun to see that gut punch on paper but it has already recovered a little. However, I am at the point where I want to start using some of this money whilst I'm alive and starting to enjoy it. I did pay off my home mortgage a month or 2 ago so that was a great feeling and freed up almost 2k/month to do as I please. It has been difficult to transition from hyper wealth building/saving mode to a more relaxed mode where I can spend a lot more freely without worrying.Originally posted by Optional

Did you finally sell that house or are you still renovating? Hopefully you sold at a nice profit and are either relaxing a bit or moved on to another project.😎 1Comment -

Thought house sale deal closed three times but one issue after another with the buyers. Almost there now. Crossing fingers it's settled in December in time to catch some good btc market timing to buy back in..😡 1Comment -

#10899I had not talked to you about it in some time and was fearful of that. Hopefully this next time it goes through without a hitch and it sells before 2026. What are your plans once it does indeed sell? Are you moving to your next project or going to relax with your profits for a bit?Originally posted by Optional

If he has not he has the keys to destroy the market value any time he likes. Which makes me think he is dead even more as its hard to believe institutions would plough billions into BTC if they thought that risk was hanging over it in the hands of one person... especially one person who appears non money motivated about btc..👍 1Comment -

#10909Arky, kicking myself for not buying any gold years back but do have around 40-50 1oz silver coins. I went and sold a few yesterday in fact for $85/per cash. If it breaks $100, I'll probably sell a few more just on principle.Originally posted by ArkyMonero @ $788.09. Up 79.91% this week.

Whatever happens with the price of silver, I'll be way underwater. When BTC was below 1k, I bought a few hundred dollars worth of silver coins with BTC. That amount of BTC is worth tens of thousands of dollars at the current price! That was one of the worst financial mistakes of my life(not even close to the worst) but you win some and you lose some. At least I have a story to tell now.

At the end of the day, I can't really complain too much as I have made some good moves too...it's all part of life.Comment -

#10910At Jake: Yep, about 8 years ago, I bought a little pack of ten 1 oz. cheap silver rounds that were on sale for spot price which was around $16-something at the time. I keep them right next to my computer. So, now I'm wondering why I have nearly $1K of metal sitting around and not stashed.... hah!
Oh man, too many bad crypto purchases to recount. Those losses are offset by the good crypto investments - and many times over. I use the baddies as a tax write-off...
I'm going to have to start cashing out on some of these things. It will either be more metal or property. Cash is a no go for a long term hold - cash loses value every day. Yearly inflation is killing the value of the dollar. Cash is OK short term. Metal is way better IMO than holding cash.
Silver has 3x'ed in a year - that's crypto good. There's a lot of things going on but the word I'm getting is that the silver price can't be suppressed anymore by the "papering of silver" - the people that controlled the price have lost control - that it is heading towards it's real market value...

Metals are similar to crypto - have to be ready to hodl - at least a year, longer is better. Bear markets are rare/scarce.
Metals are better than stocks, IMO.
Crypto may be dismal for a while.... seems the bear market is here....👍 1Comment -

#10913Looks like we're on the precipice of a cliff. Seasoned investor here, novice Crypto.
Been lurking for a long time. Was active circa $10.
What are you BC disciples thinking? Dump now or buy the dip.
Please disclose your CB. Apparently MSTR and Saylor around 75-78?? He holds a BIG position no? Could break or make MSTR. Folks recommended around 400-500.

I saw your post. It's a FAIR question. I had to think about my Answer.
Some facts:
1) Guys that I view as brilliant minds hold Bitcoin (as a heavy% of their investment portfolio).
2) American presidents have been messing w/ the Money Supply for a century+. This is relevant (to the extent that BTC can be a solution).
3) The USA's accumulated debt is a problem. There's sentiment that confidence in the USD is eroding. People will see hard assets (like Gold/Silver/Bitcoin) as an escape-hatch.
On the recent landscape, investors have sought out Silver (and Gold and Copper) more. Silver and Copper have industrial use. Bitcoin is more theoretical.
A skeptic like Bill Holter has called Bitcoin "digital air." Is he right?
I have had success on Bitcoin/Silver investments. But over a LONG horizon. There's one thing that I think the financial markets miss badly. Silver and Bitcoin carry massive volatility. Ag and BTC have Kurtosis to the moon. That means their extreme outcomes are much wider than the general financial markets (which by itself carries a relatively high Kurtosis).
Am I talking Chinese? Maybe. I feel like I'm long Bitcoin, so I'm NOT currently buying more. Have been focused more on Silver lately. Markets are a function of Supply and Demand, so your move.

*Mad, I can make a few comments about MSTR/Saylor. Are you saying that their AVG buy-in is close to the current price? That COULD be true, he's surely under-water on his RECENT buys.
*See my comment above. I believe what Saylor says. I think he believes in BTC as an anti-Fiat solution.
The part that he MAY have under-estimated = the Kurtosis volatility (that I reference above). Took down LTCM, and one of those guys was a Noble Prize winner. He was using the wrong distribution formula.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#10920Will say one thing. Saylor looked A LOT smarter when BTC was rocketing up. Easy to say that the analysts were overly optimistic. I think their assets would be in danger of being liquidated if BTC drop-down went below 20k. I know that their Balance Sheet was actually pretty well-fortified (IE: low Debt/Equity ratio).Originally posted by MadisonSo, just now per CNBC Saylor/MSTR CB 76K. And they hold a TON!!
