appreciate all the info sharing! so back story didn't know sqadush about bitcoin, crypto etc.... on SBR enjoying playing sports/horses with bet points and tournaments....Then I win some bit coin in a contest...."F me what the hell " I'm thinking...... genie saying give us your wallet info... frick what the heck is a wallet? so i look at the info already shared about "getting a wallet and how to do it" again thanks opti, kona and others for guidance ....went with blockchain( again seemed the easiest and safest...got a air drop off 227 shares of stellar to boot!)...so now I get that deposited... and buy more with bet point winnings...... friends are calling "bitcoin" funny money.... "and good luck getting anything" so just to prove them wrong.....and to myself I buy a chromebook with my bitcoin through new egg and a $100 gift card through E-gifter... holy cheap sh## it actually worked!... Bit coin price when I won/bought roughly 4000..when I bought the computer/giftcard.....10000-12000...so effectively.. they didn't cost me sh@@...yeah I know small potatoes.....
well okay i think to myself.... for now on I will only renew with a donation to a charity..... pay it forward( just to be upfront my second year..i did renew with points)...so now I watch my blockchain account increase... looking at raiders 72001, swords, pablo and memento ,Mr sink and others..continue to give input to a great thread!... while I may not get into every coin mentioned I'm happy for you all making some bank!congrats!
I saw blockchain added Algo to their limited selection of coins.... being half lit.... bought in at around a dollar earlier in the week and now on a little run( as with all crypto) any thoughts from the group?

i like a few of these coins but a few have pumped a ton in the last 1-2 weeks which makes it tough, CAKE is intriguing but 3x in the last week makes me not as intrigued

i like rari, big longshot but has a solid concept

akro could be good , its been around for a few years now



anything outside the top 100 is a longshot but high risk , high reward and if were trying to hit a 10x+ its probably whats needed , just have to be careful because those coins can lose 5-10x just as fast, gonna dig a bit deeper this weekend. but some solid choices raider

APY.finance is another new project that is killing it right now. They are a very small team so I'm not sure of their motives yet. This could be a great project. Hopefully it's not some pump and dump. Coingecko is one invstestor.

Pretty sure EOS and Tron have stuff like that. Tons of casino games and Dapp websites. Basically, you log in with the appropriate browser extension that can access your wallet and go from there. Wink.org (formerly TronBET) is one such place. I clicked around and found that since I am in the USA, I can't play. A VPN might be the way to go there....

Some are not simple to play. You have to be kind of into the techy part to get set up and playing. Here's a summary of one review on EOSbet:

The site can be enabled through very limited banks, which makes it quite difficult to access. Payment methods prevail only through cryptocurrencies. Thus the real money users can’t relish the opportunity to play the games on this site. Been reading about Litcoin L48 hours. Surprisingly, there's not a lot of video on use cases. I know there was some question about direction of LTC after Charlie Lee stepped away.

If u believe in the Gold/Silver ratio...maybe there's something to the BTC/LTC ratio. Just reporting facts:
*A few years ago, BTC/LTC was about 50/1.
*Now, more like 220/1. More than 4:1 from peak.

LTC about 50% of ATH. Just saying.

The part I was hoping to find more on was use case scenario. I know the BTC fees get talked about a good bit. I know it can be a small %fee on a big $ T/A...but it's not FREE.

I envision natives from impoverished nations (most of the world) who balk at the BTC fees but maybe find the LTC fees doable.

fairly big into DOT , i think it has potential to be $100 and with a ton of new projects coming from DOT i think REEF has pretty solid growth potential here, researching more about it tonight but im interested. Of course having hype always helps too regardless of the project can get some quick gains and get out

It is very hard balancing greed with common sense. Everyone wants to make as much as possible but be smart about it.

Nothing goes up forever.

Personally, I have little interest in Alts, prefer to stick with the heavy hitters(BTC and ETH).
