Personally, I have little interest in Alts, prefer to stick with the heavy hitters(BTC and ETH).

Yea, becomes harder to stick to a plan, when everything is flying up so quickly.

Also, anybody who used uniswap last year, check out 1inch exchange. If you've never used 1inch you might have qualified for the airdrop they did this week.

Thanks. I sell a small% every 5k that BTC goes up. I don't really want to but learned my lesson a few years back when it went from 20k to 3k and I did not sell enough.

Also, I have been diversifying my investment portfolio with sports cards the past year or so and many that I have bought have gone up 2x-5x. For example, I bought a Kobe Bryant 1996 Topps PSA 10 rookie like 6 months ago for 2.2k and it is selling for 10k now and rising.

I wish I bought a Jordan PSA 10 rookie a few years ago. They were like 30-40k less than 2 years ago and now selling for 500k-700kish.

Question for you guys....when do you take profits on these alt coins are shooting up? Have no clue when, but at some point this alt season is going to end. And I dont want to be holding coins that lose 90% like the last bear market.

On the way up I'll grab some profits now and then. The biggest mistake people make is buying when a coin is on a big run. FOMO sets in and guys are waiting in the weeds to sell on your buys. It takes discipline but if you miss out at the beginning of a run, then wait for the next coin.

i also like what 1inch is doing, going to do some more research this week. Little bit of red last 24 hours , seems like BTC is staying strong, if we hit 50k+ and stay healthy i think we still will have more of an alt run to collect big profits. Thoughts?

There isn't a set percentage. It's small with the big cap coins such as BTC and ETH. It's bigger with small cap coins but I'm always looking to reinvest on the next dip.

I know everyone is in love with Defi these days but some of the "old timers" have been doing well.

Bitcoin Cash has been quietly sneaking up... currently at $521. It has an ATH (all time high) of around $4K+ set back in Dec '17 but that was before the split with Bitcoin SV so it may or may not get there as this bull run progresses..... I think it should 3x or 4x easily from here on out, though....

I posted the above just 4 days ago and Bitcoin Cash is now at $708. Almost $200 in 4 days. These are crazy times.

Monero - Currently at $236.60 up about 60% on the week. Monero, it is said, is the crypto you thought you were buying when you bought Bitcoin. As close to digital cash as it gets. Governments hates Monero because they can't track it. Exchanges keep delisting it to keep governments happy. It doesn't have as much real world use as Bitcoin. Dark web/black market (aka true free market) has a place for it as do some brave retailers. Some think it will go to $1000.

Tron - Currently at .057 cents. Tron hasn't been this high since the summer of '18.

EOS - very late to the bull run but on the move. I couldn't wait to sell my stash of EOS until I got even with my buy-in price. Now that I'm there, I'm going to give it some more time, lol.

Litecoin - I don't have any but I keep an eye on it. Gave my younger sister $100 worth for Xmas when it was at $88. Currently at $218.17.

Conservatively speaking, all of these should double and triple over the next few months, IMO.

A while back a newsletter from my Aussie exchange had an article showing if you started with $100 bought Bitcoin on a Friday afternoon, and sold it all the following Monday, each week that year it would have increased to over $1000.

As apparently people sell before the weekend a lot.

I'll second what Pablo said - hodl. The trend is still going up so don't sweat the daily or weekly dips. Bitcoin going to $100k is realistic.

The ideal time to sell happens once about every four years but you can sell anytime you want. Full or partial. When you pull the trigger is up to you. Some people like to get their buy-in back and have a stash of "free" coins.

BCH on great run recently but only up 90% past year.

BTC up 400% and ETH up 635% past year.

Will be interesting to watch BCH next few months. It is way below its all time high.

I moved a lot in to alts. My smaller caps are the ones that I've been posting GRT, LIT, BONDLY, RARI, VGX, WOZX, 1INCH, ZKS and just picked up ZEE today.
