The Green Bay Packers have surged back into postseason contention, but our NFL parlay predictions for Week 13 based on the best NFL odds at our best sportsbooks have them taking a step back on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Back-to-back wins have suddenly breathed life into the playoff hopes of the 5-6 Green Bay Packers, who enter Sunday’s action a half game behind the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings for an NFC wild-card spot.

However, the 8-3 Kansas City Chiefs stand in the way of Green Bay’s climb back to .500, and they need a victory to keep pace in the race for the AFC’s top seed.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have won their last seven Sunday Night Football appearances.

We expect that trend to continue as one of our best NFL parlay predictions, which come in conjunction with all of our NFL predictions for Week 13 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Best NFL Week 13 parlay predictions

Colts vs. Titans second half Under 20.5 (-125 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Tennessee Titans beat the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 to snap a three-game losing streak, but their offensive issues remain, especially in the second half. Tennessee didn’t score a point in the final 30 minutes of its 17-10 victory over the Panthers, continuing a season-long trend of struggling after halftime. The Titans are averaging 7.3 points in the second half, and just 3.0 in the final frame.

Although the Indianapolis Colts have scored 20-plus points in all but one of their games, they’ve endured issues in the second half too. The Colts are averaging fewer than seven second-half points over their last four games despite facing mediocre opponents in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, and Panthers.

Tennessee’s defense has been at its best in 2023 at home, and the Colts are without star running back Jonathan Taylor for the rest of the season. We’ve also seen some lower-scoring second halves between these division rivals in the last four meetings in Tennessee, with none of those contests featuring more than 21 points after halftime.

Cardinals team total Under 17.5 vs. Steelers (-120 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12 for their seventh victory in their last 10 contests. It was also the Steelers' first game since firing beleaguered offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Although Pittsburgh’s offense did look better while generating 22 first downs and more than 400 total yards, defense remained the key to the Steelers’ success, with the team suffocating the Bengals and allowing just 222 yards on the afternoon.

The 16-10 win marked the fifth time in seven games that the Steelers have held an opponent to 17 points or fewer, and they should do the same against the 2-10 Arizona Cardinals. Arizona’s offense has been abysmal on the road in 2023 after failing to top more than 16 points in any of its six games.

And after leading the Cardinals to a 25-23 victory in his first contest of the season, Kyler Murray has managed to generate just 16 and 14 points in his last two outings versus the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams. And the defenses on those teams aren’t nearly as good as Pittsburgh's unit.

Chiefs -2.5 (-203 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Kansas City Chiefs found themselves in jeopardy of losing for the third time in four games during Week 12 while facing a 14-0 hole midway through the second quarter against the Las Vegas Raiders. Then Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs hit the gas, scoring 31 points in the final 36 minutes to cruise to a 31-17 win. It was just the second time since September that Kansas City has put up more than 27 points in a game.

Meanwhile, there’s suddenly talk of a potential playoff appearance for the Green Bay Packers after their 29-22 win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day, the club's third victory in four games following a 2-5 start. Jordan Love and the offense are finally showing signs of life while putting up 52 points over the team's last two games.

However, those outputs came against two of the league’s weaker defenses in the units the Los Angeles Chargers and Lions trot out, and I expect the challenge to be much tougher against Kansas City’s fourth-ranked group. The Chiefs’ own offensive inconsistencies are enough to keep me from confidently laying a full touchdown in Lambeau, but I’m comfortable laying under a field goal on the alternate spread. All of Kansas City's road wins since 2016 have come by three-plus points.
