The New England Patriots visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football to kick off the NFL Week 14 schedule, as we make our best Patriots vs. Steelers NFL player props based on the best NFL odds.

Thursday night's game between the Patriots and Steelers represents the lowest total for a contest this season at 30. The Patriots haven’t allowed more than 10 points since Week 9, but they also haven’t scored more than 10 in a single game.

Pittsburgh turns to Mitch Trubisky under center after starting QB Kenny Pickett underwent ankle surgery earlier this week. Will he bring new life to their struggling offense? We took a deeper dive into how he'll perform with our Mitch Trubisky player props.

Our C Jackson Cowart also charted every game this season to determine how to bet backup QBs, and the Under isn't as much of a lock as it may seem.

In conjunction with our Patriots vs. Steelers predictions, here are our best Patriots vs. Steelers NFL player props for Week 14 (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Patriots vs. Steelers NFL player props: Thursday Night Football

Ezekiel Elliott Over 58.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

With Rhamondre Stevenson out, Elliott is among the few players who should have a solid performance on Thursday. The Steelers give up 121 rushing yards per game and allowed the Arizona Cardinals to put up 150 on them last week.

Even though the Patriots’ offense is a disaster, the Steelers aren’t good enough to pull away from them. In a close game, the Patriots’ game plan should be not to make mistakes. Running the ball with Elliott is much safer than allowing Bailey Zappe or Mac Jones to throw.

Elliott has topped this number once all season so we wouldn’t play this prop for a price worse than -110. Currently, the only way to get that is to use our bet365 bonus code: SBRBONUS.

Patriots vs. Steelers bonus codes

Bailey Zappe Under 0.5 passing touchdowns (+114 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Multiple Zappe Unders are worth taking on Thursday. The Patriots have scored one touchdown in their last three weeks combined. The Steelers allow just 19.1 points per game, so there is no guarantee that the Patriots even score in this game.

While you could consider taking Zappe's passing yards under, especially since he may not even finish this game, there is more value in taking his passing touchdowns Under. Our best sports betting apps have this price set at +100 or better for the Under, with DraftKings offering the best price.

Despite appearing in five games, Zappe has yet to throw a touchdown pass this season. With the offense averaging fewer than 300 yards per game, he may only get one or two red zone opportunities on Thursday. Nothing suggests he will take advantage of them.

We dig deeper into what we expect from Zappe's night in our Bailey Zappe player props.

George Pickens Over 3.5 receptions (-110 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Pickens finished last week’s game with four catches for 86 yards despite the Steelers’ significant difficulties at the quarterback position. He’s caught at least three passes in his last four games, including four in two of his previous three.

Because of how evenly distributed the targets have been for Pickens and Diontae Johnson when they’re both on the field, it’s hard to know which will garner the most attention from their QB. However, with at least five targets in all but one game this season, Pickens is likelier to have opportunities on Thursday. He probably won’t do much with his catches, but he will bring in at least four passes.

Our Andrew Brennan gets more in depth on the man that'll be slinging Pickens passes on Thursday in his Mitch Trubisky player props

BetMGM and DraftKings are offering the best price for this prop. Every other major sportsbook is asking at least -115. If you’re taking an Over in this game, ensure you’re not paying more than -110.
