Which team will be the last undefeated squad during the 2023 NFL season? We make our picks for the last undefeated team based on the odds at our best NFL betting sites.

One of the more intriguing bets to make every NFL season is on which team will be the last undefeated club. We know the 1972 Miami Dolphins pop a cork whenever all 32 teams have taken an L, but the final team is often a surprise.

The usual suspects are favored to be the last undefeated team in 2023, and with good reason. Each of the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers could race out to fast starts.

However, the Eagles enter the year with the toughest schedule based on the combined winning percentages (0.566) of their opponents from the 2022 season, the Bills and Chiefs play in extremely competitive divisions, and the 49ers are reintegrating a quarterback coming off major elbow surgery.

Here are our best bets on the last undefeated NFL team (odds via our best NFL betting sites; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Ravens (+1400 via FanDuel)

Week 1: vs. Texans, Week 2: @ Bengals, Week 3: vs. Colts, Week 4: @ Browns, Week 5: @ Steelers, Week 6: @ Titans, Week 7: vs. Lions, Week 8: @ Cardinals

The Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, and 49ers are all favored to win each of their games in the first half of the season, and every team is therefore a good bet to be the last undefeated squad. But there are other candidates with even better odds.

The Baltimore Ravens are also Super Bowl contenders, with the eighth-shortest price on the board in our Super Bowl odds. They've been given a rather cushy first-half schedule, with the team facing three teams from the lowly AFC South and then visiting the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.

The biggest challenge will be a division matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. But there's also a chance Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow won't be fully healed from his calf injury by then.

The Ravens needing to play road contests against their three divisional rivals within the first five games also gives us pause.

If Baltimore can cash as a heavy favorite against the rebuilding Texans, get past the Bengals, top the Anthony Richardson-led Colts in Week 3, and triumph on the road in Cleveland and Pittsburgh (where they should be favored), the Ravens will be a good bet to be the last undefeated team. Though they'll need a slipup from the league's elite.

Saints (+2500 via DraftKings, Caesars)

Week 1: vs. Titans, Week 2: @ Panthers, Week 3: @ Packers, Week 4: vs. Buccaneers, Week 5: @ Patriots, Week 6: @ Texans, Week 7: vs. Jaguars, Week 8: @ Colts

The New Orleans Saints own the league's second-easiest schedule based on the combined winning percentages of their opponents. PFF even rates their slate as the easiest.

They face six matchups with teams from the NFC South, and the team also plays the AFC South. That's the NFL's two worst divisions.

The Saints open the season at home against the Tennessee Titans and their impotent offense. Then they see rookie quarterback Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers before a trip to Lambeau Field, where they'll be facing Jordan Love in his first season leading the Green Bay Packers.

The next three weeks feature matchups against bottom-feeders in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Houston Texans.

Their stiffest test should come in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are fresh off an appearance in the divisional round of the playoffs. Should they get past the Jags, the Saints could breeze into their bye in Week 11, and then only a Week 13 date against the Detroit Lions looks like a legitimate challenge.

Need another advantage? The Saints will play one game outdoors after Week 5, and it comes during Week 17 in Tampa. New Orleans is a dome team that will get the benefit of playing 12 games indoors.

The Saints boast a veteran and experienced roster, and they're head and shoulders above their NFC South competition. They're worth a wager at +2500 odds with this schedule.
