First Touchdown Scorer Predictions for Sunday Night Football Week 4
The undefeated Buffalo Bills take on a Baltimore Ravens team looking to turn their season around after a disappointing 1-2 start. The Ravens are short home favorites by the Sunday Night Football odds.
Trying to nail down the best value for our first touchdown scorer predictions for Sunday Night Football was difficult considering the amount of talent on both rosters, and the tight affair expected with our Bills vs. Ravens prediction.
Both the Bill and the Ravens have All-Star talent on both sides of the ball and any of them can score with seemingly little effort. It certainly makes picking who will cross the goal line first on Sunday night more challenging than most weeks as look to complement Gary Pearson's Bills vs. Ravens SNF prop bets.
However, I have picked up on a few trends that should help make that task a lot more manageable and potentially a lot more profitable as a boost to our anytime touchdown scorer predictions for Week 4.

Bills first touchdown scorer prediction: James Cook, RB ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +850 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 10.53%
Cook has scored the first touchdown in each of Buffalo’s last two games.
The third year back out of Georgia leads the Bills in rushing and receiving touchdowns, crossing the goal line four times combined so far this season.
He is an important part of the Buffalo offense, leading the team with 41 carries. Cook is also tied for second in receptions (8) with tight end Dalton Kincaid making him valuable in the passing game as well.
I’m a little nervous that Baltimore hasn’t allowed an opponent to get the first touchdown of the game yet this season. Even still, the Bills have had little trouble taking their opening drive into the end zone these last two weeks and I don’t expect this week to be different.
Your $10 bet will bring back $85 in profit should Cook work his magic again this week.
Ravens first touchdown scorer prediction: Lamar Jackson, QB ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +1000 via bet365 | Implied probability: 9.09%
Last week, Jackson scored his first rushing touchdown of the season against the Dallas Cowboys which was also the first score of the game.
The perennial NFL MVP odds contender continues to be the centerpiece of the Ravens’ offense. He's accounting for 42% of his team’s rushing yards (254) along with 702 passing yards.
Jackson is averaging 7.3 yards per carry over his first three games which makes him a threat from anywhere on the field and even more so in the red zone where he has scored twice in his 11 attempts from inside the 20-yard line.
Caesars has him as short as +650 to be the first to cross the goal line which would only net you $65 on a $10 wager. I suggest bumping your winning potential to $100 with FanDuel's +1000 odds.
