While the rest of the world will be watching the NBA draft, we have our sights set on Thursday's WNBA slate. Read on for our top WNBA player props and best bets for Thursday based on the best WNBA odds.
Basketball fans will have no shortage of options when it comes to finding a wager on Thursday. The NBA is hosting its annual rookie draft, in which we have already shared our favorite picks and predictions for that event.
For now, let's turn our attention to the three-game slate in the WNBA. My projections show some value on a home underdog, but we are always keeping an eye on the prop market throughout the day as well.
Here are our top WNBA player props and best bets for Thursday (odds via our best sports betting apps; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Thursday's WNBA game picks
Sky +3.5 (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Full disclosure: I bet the Sky at +4.5 when our best sports betting sites released odds on Wednesday evening. But I have no problem recommending it at +3.5, and would be willing to play this at anything +3 or better.
The rest of the best sportsbooks have the spread at 2.5 or 3, so take advantage of BetMGM's juiced line on the underdog while you still can. My projections make this closer to a toss-up before we even get into the specifics of the contest.
Natasha Cloud (illness) is listed as questionable, so there is a chance that Washington (7-4) is short-handed in a rematch from Sunday's 77-69 road win over Chicago. With the second game of a back-to-back taking place inside Wintrust Arena, the Sky (5-7) should have a better fate. In fact, they are 3-0-1 ATS as home underdogs this year.
The Mystics have won two in a row, but they still have some serious offensive struggles. Washington ranks 11th with an offensive rating 93.4, which is only better than the Seattle Storm. In a lower-scoring battle, the Sky should be able to stay within a possession.
I'd even even be comfortable taking a stab at their +130 moneyline price on Caesars in a true toss-up game.

Sun ML (-167 via Barstool) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been waiting to see how far the spread would go down, as the Sun opened as 5.5-point favorites before dropping down to -3.5. This line never got down to 3 for my buy point, but I'm comfortable placing a moneyline wager at these reduced odds.
The Lynx (4-8) have won four of their last six games since starting the season with a 0-6 clip, which includes three victories in the previous four outings. But the Sun are a step up in competition, and we saw how the Lynx handled facing the elite in their 31-point loss to the Las Vegas Aces just four days ago.
Connecticut (10-3) will be without Brionna Jones (leg) in this game, but I think the market might be overreacting to that a bit. My power ratings would make this roughly a 7-point spread with these two teams at full strength, so I'm expecting the Sun to end a three-game road trip with a win in the Twin Cities on Thursday.
Feel free to play this moneyline pick at anything -170 or better at our best live betting sites.

Thursday's WNBA prop picks
Aliyah Boston Over 7.5 rebounds (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft has the Indiana Fever at 4-7 through the opening stretch after this team went 5-31 last year. Boston is averaging 16 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
Indiana is a road favorite in Thursday's matchup against the Seattle Storm, and Boston figures to feast in this matchup. The Storm rank 10th in the league in rebounding, giving up 33.1 boards per contest.
Boston has cleared this mark in four of her last six games, averaging 9.5 rebounds per game over that span. During this recent stretch, Boston has recorded double-digit boards in three of the six outings.
Unabated's new WNBA prop projections have Boston finishing with 9.23 rebounds in this matchup, giving us a 24% edge on this Over. Indiana forward NaLyssa Smith also has value on the Over, with a projection of 9.77 rebounds in a game where the line is set at 8.5.
We prefer the extra cushion with Boston in this case, as the rookie has been playing like a fringe WNBA All-Star starter out of the gate.
