📡 SBR Edge: Don't Overreact to 2 Close Wins
Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham are both available to play tonight, and my Fever vs. Sun prediction includes Sun +8.5 (-102) and Clark Over 4.5 rebounds (-120). The last time Indiana won a game by nine or more points was June 4. However, Clark has been crashing the glass, recording seven rebounds in three of her last four outings.

🏆 Who will win Fever vs. Sun?
The Fever have the fifth-shortest championship odds, and while the market is higher on Indiana than my power rankings are, it would be naive to think the Fever should be an underdog against Connecticut, which has the longest odds to win outright.
While the Sun have been competitive in games - I’ll go into more detail when I break down my best bet - they haven’t won a game straight up since May 30 (against the Kelsey Plum-less Sparks). Two things can be true at once: the Fever are overrated by the market, but they’ll still probably beat the Sun.
Score prediction: Fever 86, Sun 80
💰 Fever vs. Sun prediction & best bet
Sun +8.5 (-102)
I understand the Sun are the lowest power-ranked team by (mostly?) everyone, but the Fever shouldn’t be laying 8.5 on the road (with extra vig, nonetheless).
None of the Fever’s last three games have resulted in an Indiana win by nine or more points, and over a larger sample, they’ve won just one of their last seven by that margin. Meanwhile, the Sun have lost two of their last three games by five or fewer points (and the one outlier was a nine-point setback against the Liberty, the best team in the WNBA).
📡 SBR Edge: Finding the Best Line
The best line available is Sun +8.5 (-102) at FanDuel and DraftKings. If you don’t have access to either of those books, there’s still value in playing +8.5 (-105) at BetMGM.
🔥 Best Fever vs. Sun player prop bet
Caitlin Clark Over 4.5 rebounds (-120)
While I'm fading the Fever overall as a team in this game, Clark's effort on the glass in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup has been impressive.
She's been extra aggressive on the boards, grabbing seven rebounds in three of her last four games. In another Commissioner's Cup matchup tonight, I expect a similar effort from the Fever's star point guard.
The best line available on Clark's rebounds is Over 4.5 (-115) at theScore Bet. However, I'll use Over 4.5 (-120) at FanDuel for my personal tracking, as it's a widely available line, and it would be misleading to recommend a bet at a sportsbook that most readers don't have access to.
