I'm still wrapping my head around the idea that the Valkyries are an Over team this year. Through 12 games, they're 9-3 to the Over while ranking third in offensive rating. Golden State is averaging 85.9 points per game this year. 

Golden State boasted an elite defense in its first year as an expansion franchise. But things have changed, and the best sports betting sites haven't fully caught on yet.

In fact, this total is Golden State's lowest total since the season opener, when the Valkyries and Storm scored 171 points to clear a closing total of 156.5.

I'll back the Over again tonight.

In her third game back from nearly a month-long absence, Seattle forward Dominique Malonga played 24 minutes after averaging about 15 minutes in the first two contests. That's a sign the Storm are ready to give her more playing time, which is a good thing for this matchup.

Malonga has only played 20-plus minutes four times this year. In all four instances, Malonga grabbed at least seven rebounds. She tallied eight boards against Golden State in the season opener.

The Valkyries rank 13th in rebounding and 14th in defensive boards. It's clearly a part of their strategy. But that won't stop me from taking a plus-money price to back Malonga on Friday.
