He's slashing .324/.359/.541 against lefties this season, and his 41% fly-ball rate should work to somewhat counter Fried's ability to induce grounders.

Additionally, it's completely possible Ohtani clears this number with a hard-hit ground ball, which he can absolutely do considering he has the second-hardest average exit velocity and best hard-hit rate in baseball. Mix that in with his speed, and he can turn any grounder down the line into a double.
