So, it is like what you say about 'trickle down economics'. Since its not in their industry's books, it doesn't exist or cannot exist, I don't have your quote but that some's it up.
Although I agree with you, on trickle down economics it don't exist, because the theory has never worked. Or at least not in my lifetime. When the people at the top get more, they are keeping all they can, and it's not flowing downward.
Go Buckeyes
Its a catch phrase is all. It means nothing. Similar as inflation reduction act or Black Lives Matter.
TDS in many cases seems to be the only explanations as to why seemingly normal decent people have apparently lost their minds when the mere mention of Trump. It's in no book or no official mental health term currently. Don't discount the possibility that it will one day.
Hook line and sinker.

No fighting sounds good. Quick question, in what medical or mental health term/definition book does TDS appear?

Yea, I make it up, does it make you mad because once in a while, I do a better job than you at it. It's not easy but once in a blue moon I can. I'm like Jr high, AND YOU ARE THE NFL. Some countries in the middle east may make money at $40. Most US crude cost a lot more to refine ( a lot of other cost are higher here, more than I would know) than the Saudi crude. I hope I'm wrong and they can make money at $10 and sale gas for .79 gal or .59 why do you think that would make me mad. I would jump for joy. Why would I lie about better prices. YOU and the people YOU support are the ones that wants things bad when they can't take credit for them being good. I'm not going to do without either way but a lot of people I care about would.
Your the one who's mad. I tell the ultimate truth. You tell the democrat truth.
The cost to produce a barrel of oil for a company to make money varies significantly depending on the location of the oil field, extraction method, and current market prices, but generally, a company needs the price of a barrel of oil to be above $30 to $50 to turn a profit, with some regions requiring prices closer to $60 per barrel to break even on new wells.

You may know more about crude oil than I do. But US drillers need at least $70 a barrel to break even, it was at $80.19 when i looked about an hour ago that is making a profit but not a big one.
Drill baby drill want work, at lowing prices because they can't sell it for less than $70 and stay in business, unless you can somehow take it off the world trade market and use it hear and save on shipping it. I'm not sure that even helps enough.
I don't, was making an assumption. We shall see what transpires.
If nothing else, wokeness and DEI dying off is a tremendous start! Most certainly in the military and hopefully in the police and fire departments as well. We should have the best of the best working in arenas that deal with public safety. Standards were lowered to fill quotas and check boxes and it has made us a lot weaker all around.

I'm not one of those that thinks Trump will immediately get prices and gas/groceries etc all the way back down to what they used to be. However, I do expect prices to come down...how far down is the question? He is going to drill for gas and oil here in the country so one would think products in that arena will come down? I'm interested to see what happens in various areas the first 6-12 months.

The low point on gas during Trumps first term was Jan 2019 @ $2.17. (In 2020 when no one was buying gas it was lower I don't remember the price)
The high point was IN June 2022 @ $3.89.
Lowest since 2020 was Nov. 2024 @ $2.29
$2.49 right now.

Gas went up today to $2.49, was $2.39. Eggs have been up and down for two years with whatever that sickness is that been killing hens, all over the southwest and mid-west. They were back down some last week $2.50 but as high as $4.50 some weeks.
On the gas we are always at least .50 to .75 less than the national average.
Interesting...there is also some kind of egg shortage that I have seen info posted at the grocery stores the past week or 2?
Based on what you just posted, gas is up ~60% and eggs up anywhere between ~60-300% in your area since Trump's first term....
What are the current prices for gas and eggs in your area?
Gas here is around $4(was closer to $4.50 until recently) and eggs are $4 minimum upwards of $10-12 for organic

I guess the same guy who had gas prices at under 2 dollars. Eggs under a dollar. The guy who brought Corporations back to America to give AMERICANS jobs. The same guy who got rid of the Democrats attempt to take over America and destroy it. The same guy who made other countries pay their fair share in business with America. The same guy who had the safest American border EVER..
THE SAME GUY WHO WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
I not sure where you live, but gas prices are usually among the lowest in the nation here. They were never under $2 during Trumps 1st term. Eggs were never under a dollar either. Can you give me a link on that safest border ever.
What corporations did he bring back?
I hope he gets gas prices to way under $2. Here they are $2.39 now. Oops went up a dime $2.49 now.
I'm ready for those type of gas prices (well under $2) and 50% cheaper food at the store.

yes it does show how much I care about people. The opposite of the false narrative you once again are trying to push. Argentina has been run by loser politicians for years, just like America the last 4 and Canada the last 10.
Milei has done an amazing job since he was elected 2 years ago. You keep cheering for failure and that shows how much you actually care about people.
LOL, Half the country didn't live in poverty before Milei. A government surplus isn't always a good thing, it means he's cutting programs that help people. He's also cutting jobs and enriching himself. Just like America the next 4 years. Workers are making less money because the rich are running the country. It's not even capitalism its cronyism.
So quit lying and twisting words saying you care about people. You care about rich people like you.
Yea I don't think half a country living in poverty compares to 5 incomplete passes. What a shitty analogy. Shows how much you care about people.

Your right Trump can do it the next 4 years. He is the one trying to give the corporations everything. Who lowered their tax rate from 35% to 21%?

What was the child mortality rate in 1870? How many paved roads were there. How much was spent on defense. How many rockets went to the moon or mars and so on. How many fighter planes? and so on.
You are absolutely wrong about the rate. I'm all about tax breaks for corporations. You start out with about a 40% to 50% rate. Then you get breaks for things you do. You don't get them just because.
Put money in communities get a break. Hire employees get a break and so on. You don't get a break, and we hope you will do the right thing. Thats trickle down and it don't work. It didn't work in the 80's or any other time in our history.
again, the government and its civil servants take in more than enough in taxes to protect the citizens (both foreign and domestic) and take care of the needy. They government are addicted to spending. There is very little accountability and its super easy to spend other people's' money. I am sure if you and I can were paid a couple hundred grand with ton tons of perks, we could waste trillions of dollars over a given period of time. I know I could.
No reason the tax code should be over 70,000 pages. I am gonna go out on a limb and say you agree with me on that.
It should be even lower than 21%. Same with personal income tax.
Don't forget that Lincoln implemented income tax of 5% as a temporary measure to raise money for the civil war if memory serves. After the war, it was dropped.
