Maybe? Book burning is pretty dumb, although a lot more of a statement then an effective strategy in the computer age. Regardless, what's the point? I'm more concerned with the people they've killed (and the people we've killed who have almost certainly motivated their hatred) than with destroying possessions.I think he posted the book burning because of this....

its not any fault of yours , jts, recons or mr klc or anything like that...its just the time i spent researching things mentioned, the more irrational and impossible the whole idea grows....
for one thing, if i have to believe the entire bible, then there isnt even a slim chance that ill ever be god fearing... its beyond ridiculous... you guys prompted me to research the miracles/impossibilities and i simply cant put the absurdities aside and believe in much that is in the book... its irrational piece of fiction that gives no answers except to trust and have faith ... having faith in a 5000yr old book isnt going to happen... i hate to keep repeating the obvious, but when the bible was finished, so were the impossible feats/miracles...
you can say this or that is a miracle and something might be miraculous, but the impossible feats that were performed are unproven, extremely far fetched and downright Impossible ... basic science debunks the majority of the make believe... christians are still trusting the word of people who were also simply told what to believe and still trust an ancient book loaded with contradictions and gross over exaggerations.

I've seen some. but to try to explain it wouldn't do it any justice.
I don't go to church because I feel that some of the things that I do, I am too ashamed to ask forgiveness for. these things are not sick, or do any harm to others, but I just feel like its all or nothing. if I intend on receiving communion, or participate in church activities, I will have to leave a lot behind. I can't be two faced and try to pretend that I live a perfect life when I don't. one thing I will do, though, is respect God, other people, and I will always defend him because I know that I live a decent life, have a beautiful family, and know that I will not be judged. I will never judge others, and I am always the first to go out of my way for anyone because I know I am blessed.
We can argue logic all we want, everyone has an agenda. I see some people on here trying to discredit other people's beliefs because they are scared. if I had nothing to believe in, I might as well end it all. if you fee like you have no one to answer to, I don't believe one can live an exemplary life for others to follow or look up to.

Science doesn't work like a religion, where you can pick and choose data and revise interpretations to try to maintain the illusion of 100% accuracy...science is accurate by it's very nature, because it's been upheld and proven. Sure, people can (and do) claim particular aspects of science are lies, but their claims thankfully have no effect on reality, and science continues to be observably and provably true regardless of their acceptance of it. Funny thing is most sciences are so interconnected, that for a person to remain consistent, rejecting one branch of science should lead to a rejection of everything tied to and derived from it...but most just cherry-pick data, or (like Ken Hamm) simply change their mind once the proof is overwhelming, and claim that it works exactly the way science says it does, but only because God made it that way 6,000 years ago
As for the morals, most of your "moral outrage" here seems to be directed at things that aren't widespread or that aren't even possible outside of fiction. Sounds like a bunch of fear-mongering to me, which is good to get people to believe usually...but doesn't work well on people who tend to think first, or who look for things to make sense in their lives.

I'm not surprised you've never heard of Anders Breivik. I mean...he's only a Christian who murdered over 70 people (mostly kids) in 2 terror attacks in 2011. I especially like how you admit your ignorance to them, but will say without qualification that you know they didn't do it on account to Christ.
