Also... I'm realizing that I should really consider using this as a real life betting guide. Looking back over my record these last couple of weeks, I'm like 12/15. At almost even odds... that's way more profitable than my MMA betting record (which just went into the black after quite a while in the red). With Vaughany experiencing something similar, I'm wondering if it's happening to others as well?

I got an email the day after I hit it I believe, possibly two. Responded to the email, another 2 days they confirmed they shipped the prize. Wife informs me its at the house.

Can't really use this to gauge performance against actual markets though, you're getting a lot of -150 favorites (or more) at even money here.

I think I was on to something here. All of a sudden 5D changed the prop to "either team scores 4 or more goals" for all games and simultaneously lowered the odds. Last night either team over 3 in the Germany/Ghana game was +700, now either team over 4 is +335.

Yeah, the books seem to be making some adjustments to all the overs coming in. Probably going to end up with some value on the unders soon as everyone has been hammering them.

Am I a fool for wanting to take USA +1 over Portugal? Despite winning, they looked like crap in the Ghana game and they'll be without a key forward... but that goalie is amazing and Portugal is apparently going without four key players, not to mention an injured Ronaldo. Also, though I didn't watch it, they were destroyed by Germany so they can't be playing too well either. Having said all that, I'm a typical American in that I know very little about the relative merits of World Cup soccer teams and am largely talking out of my ass here. Would anyone who isn't care to weigh in?

About the contest, I got my email, replied, and was sent a confirmation email saying it would arrive in 5-8 days within minutes. I was sorely tempted by the $100 freeplay, but I ended up going for the Bose earbuds. I've had the same earbuds previously, but the left earbud went out a while back after I accidentally put them through the wash and I've been suffering with an inferior pair ever since. The sound quality is exceptional with these (and the various ear cover molds ensure maximum comfort) so it's been hard to go back to crap earbuds. Definitely the best prize option in my opinion.
