Not to hijack Nunya's thread, but since it seems kosher to talk about non-MMA betting opportunities, you guys should really look into tonight's Spurs/Heat game. It should be a good game and there are reasons to favor the Heat, but +200 for a team that is deservedly up 2-1 in the series is... a pretty generous line. Don't like them outright? Then buy them a point buffer. I have the Spurs at various prices for various amounts, but even after adding 8 points to their score you can still get them for -167. Not to go full thor here, BUT beware betting this game.. Spurs are clearly much better at basketball, but this is the nba... Its blatantly fixed. Joey crawford is reffing tonite. Spurs don't do well when he refs. See game 2 and game 6 of last years finals. The nba also makes a lot of money on each game which is why they will extend the series to 7 games. But i completely agree Jax, if this were a legit sporting event I would hammer the spurs..Comment -
I hope others tailed on this. Last night I made... a substantial amount of money. The lucrative moment is past, but if you're ok with pennies instead of dollars, you can still get the Spurs at -1500 for the series. They're up 3-1 and heading back to San Antonio for the next game. Basically free (albeit small) money. No team in the history of the NBA has come back from a 3-1 deficit to win in the finals and, with they way they've been playing (not to mention the way the Spurs have been playing), the Heat definitely aren't going to be the first to do so.Originally posted by Das Jax

There's all sorts of fake Wifi hotspots set up at the rio with the names of other poker rooms wifi. So, if you've connected to say the Aria wifi in the past, your computer might try to automatically connect to the fake one with the same name, rather than to the Rio one.

Id lean more towards the market being off, however there a lot of factors/variables involved. As i mentioned in post above (response to ronpaul)... There isnt one team in this tournament who has an outstanding backline. When looking at the majority of sides' lineups, the defense is the area where you would say they are weakest...out of the teams tht have played so far it is quite clear that these sides are England, Italy, Netherlands, Chile, Cameroon, ivory coast, colombia, croatia, and brazil. Now just because a team has an average backline or their backline is weaker compared to their midfield and attack doesnt mean a team will automatically concede goals...some will make up for weakness by playing a more reserved and compact style as a team, or will just play with more defenders and more defensive minded midfielders. An example of this is Netherlands who have reverted to a 5-3-2 formation which on paper seems more negative than their normal style. In their warmup games they were using this formation because their Coach was aware of their vulnerability in defense, and consequently in their friendlies they didnt score a lot but also didnt concede (beat ghana 1-0 and wales 2-0). This was partly why the over totsl in their game against spain was over 2 rather than over 2.5. Yet holland went and won 5-1! ALso, another game where the altitude and humidity wasnt anywhere near as big a factor as expected...many where playing ecuador based on fact tht conditions should suit them..obviously very different to what swiss players are used to, but it was switzerland who looked fresher and more energetic late on and they came back from 1-0 down to winComment
