Great call LTA. Good thing I hedged out of my Heat bet. That game was entertaining as hell!

Final score 97-93. My model was right on the money with that one. Now let's get this late game and start making a move.

Wish the Bulls could have pulled it out, but end of the day, I'll take the 2 units in my pocket. Well diagnosed game bro.....looking for a nice up and down game in Denver tonight to cap off a great day.

            LTA,

never been one to believe NBA is rigged in anyway.....but wow refs convinced me today with their brutal and questionable calls in favor of a miami cover......it was gross and so blatant playing games with the books

Really liked the Pacers today. Will be interested to see how that game turns out. It's tough to play any game involving the unpredictability of the Magic. They can come out and shoot 60% or 30%....you never really know what to expect. Interesting game.

Congrats LTA, in the end, we were both right! Ended up going with you + 4.5 and parlaying the Heat ML with the Boston ML.

Btw, I got the over @ 204.5 on the Denver/LAC game, portuguese bookie.

As much as a physical specimen that Howard is, I am not a big fan at this stage. Yes, he can physically dominate...a big man that can do that is a huge commodity...no question. Maturity, leadership, refining his game, not just relying on his physical advantages.....I need to see progress if I am going to make him the cornerstone of my franchise. Dunno, guy comes off as a phony to me.....don't know him personally though. Been a lot of drama in Orlando the last few years for teams that were not cellar dwellers.....not sure if Stan Van has something to do with that himself though.

Indiana's ability to play half court D and rebound/grind could translate into a frustrating playoff opponent to someone down the line..................Creating offense remains their bugaboo.

This might affect the over, as Andre Miller doesn't quite push the same speed. Contemplating buying out of that bet, hmmmm...

No doubt Howard is a difference maker. Fitting his personality into the Heat team without Wade?........Nah man, they would lose their share of games...who's finishing? who's hitting free throws? Weren't they not supposed to lose a game as they are presently constituted. Wade is the only guy on the Heat who has walked the walk...winning a championship with this roster:

I dont wanna clog LTAs thread... but real quick... Lebron and wade are the same type player.. as we see this year, lebron and bosh both play better with wade out. They are obviously still a great team with Wade, but they could be so much better without their two best guys being guys that demand the ball and play best with the ball in their hands. If you add dwights defense and rebounding, along with his dominant (sometimes) inside game, they would be unreal.

Anyway... lets see some points clipps and nuggs

49 - Qtr1, Both teams a little slow outta the blocks but heated up. The only thing were going to need is that the three ball starts to fall. 1/7 combined from downtown aint gonna get it done. I think they find their range from here on in

It's tough to play any game involving the unpredictability of the Magic. They can come out and shoot 60% or 30%....you never really know what to expect. Interesting game.
i was doubting this line earlier today as well....turns out they magic are self destructing, badly....another 20pt beat-down ....how much longer till Howard gets traded??

Why did they take 3 points away from the Clippers at halftime? I'm not watching the game. It was 53-51 at halftime on SBR, ESPN,etc. Now all of a sudden it's 53-48. WTF.

Still in good shape at the half in Denver. Both teams starting to hit it from three land. Only thing that I hope wont come back to bite us in the nuts is the Free throw shooting (13/22 , 60%) at HT is pretty awful and a lot of lose change left on the street.
