Detroit faces a challenging scheduling spot as they roll into Grand Casino Arena in Minnesota (9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) on the second night of a back-to-back, and I expect Kirill Kaprizov to take full advantage in my Red Wings vs. Wild prediction.  

The Wild are the -150 moneyline betting favorite despite losing five straight on home ice. Returning home for the first time in a week, the Wild played much better on their recent road trip. While the Red Wings are in fine form, heavy legs will get the better of them tonight.

The Wild's previous six games had at least seven goals, and their previous three at home also hit the Over. 

The Red Wings have been excellent defensively recently, but I expect them to struggle in the quick turnaround against a Wild team that won two of three while scoring 14 goals on the recent road trip. The price for a Wild victory is too steep for my liking, so I'm backing over 6.5 goals.
