Hart Trophy odds analysis
The 2022-23 NHL season is rounding the final corner, and McDavid has lapped the field in the Hart Trophy race. Leading the league in points has become commonplace for the 26-year-old star, but this will be the first year McDavid paces the NHL in goals, too.
Not only will he take home the Hart, Art Ross, and Maurice Richard Trophies, McDavid is also going to post the highest, single-season point total since Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux marked the scoresheet 160 times during the 1992-93 campaign.
McDavid opened the season with +300 odds to win the Hart through BetMGM, and the number steadily declined as he strung together multi-point showings as easily as you and I put one foot in front of the other.
